Here is a beautiful song written by my son - he was inspired by the creative genius of Sir Paul to whom I am forever thankful! I WISH I wish you were here with me To make this pain disappear I wish I felt your warmth Upon me when you're near I wish I flew above the sky Above the rocks and trees I wish your face was touching mine A peaceful insanity I wish the days were without end So I would never be alone I wish you could comprehend That my secret could be known I wish for what I cannot have That impossibility could be mine I wish for an eternal zen Tranquility may I find.

RE: David Lynch Foundation Concert
Well it's official....everyone is looking for the roof of RCMH It is still difficult for me to leave my seat mentally! I sat in Orchestra section 6 Row O seat 607. Even at that I has a great view. Anybody else near there or were you all lucky to be able to see up closer and more personally these wonderful people? Does anyone know where I can find a full set list that covers all the contributors to the cause? I am finally able to write after 2 days of pure bliss.....which as per previous experience when I have seen Paul lasts for months....but now with all of this to have been permanently infused I am likely good for a lot longer than that...being a hippie chick....the whole night was like a trip without drugs..WOW. I totally had a paradigm shift happen Saturday night..I am forever changed. It is very trippy in a good and non chemically induced way. So many things invoked eternal song in my heart and the deep recessess of my inner self. But as Paul said Saturday... I digress. May I say it was as Jimi would have said....an experience. Love is it. That is the way. It's in us all....hooray. I floated around NYC all day Sunday took the train home finally at dusk...and as I sat in my seat on Metro North watching the Hudson River turn gold and orange...I closed my eyes and found a quiet place and made up a mantra...and began to find to my suprise and delight, the change that begins within....it's goin' on.

Paul's four concerts in 2008 each began with different songs...considering past practices, pretty unusual. Do you think he'll continue that trend with next month's shows? _________________ Wings - 5/21/76 Met Paul during Driving USA Tour-4/21/02 "High-five" from Paul during US Tour-10/5/05 In Pauls' DVD "The Space Within US" At Pauls' NY "secret" gig - 6/13/07!!! Change Begins Within Benefit NYC - 4/4/09
I don't know about the Vegas thing, but I'm pretty sure the Radio City gig will be different if for no other reason, Paul will probably have an abbreviated set list - since, as has been noted, he's only one of a number of performers for what is estimated to be about a 4 hour show.
WOW four hours?!? Really?!?! I better get a Hotel for sure!! There will not be a train home at that hour! Glad to find this out now! I still can't believe I am going....For a laugh check out the Comic Relief T-Shirt Paul is wearing on his website...awesome. Luv Ya All

RE: David Lynch Foundation Concert
Oh poo, I tried until noon that day thinking that very thing, but still no luck. I have had a lot of luck recently though...where oh where have the concert gods gone?! As for dress, I dunno, but being a benefit, I wouldn't turn up in jeans and a t-shirt at any rate. No luck on the ticket front yet, Harley, but I haven't given up hope. Have fun all lucky enough to have tickets.
Thanks for the info about attire...I am going shopping for some Benefit type clothes Saturday....and please try EBAY guys there seem to be a few reasonable tickets left there....good luck!! Shine On!!

I was logged on to Ticketmaster and hit enter at exactally 11:00 and the tickets were sold out immediately taken by other they were not sold out at 11 people just quit because nothing comes up my friend had 3 tickets come up well past 11
Ohhhh cool!! I am not known for my patience!! Glad they got in and found seats. I was so afraid I would not get tickets that I gave up after several tries. The Boston Concert in 05 sold out in 10 minutes but he did a second show so I got in for that one. This time I freaked out and went to a reseller for tickets because I really wanted to get one. Only thing is I paid alot but got a decent seat in the Orchestra section. This will be a fantastic experience. I still cannot believe it. Question...since it is a Benefit do you think there is any special attire we should wear??? Rock On!!

RE: David Lynch Foundation Concert
I was logged on to Ticketmaster and hit enter at exactally 11:00 and the tickets were sold out immediately taken by other sellers. I ended up paying 700 for Orchestra section 6 Row O. It is a pretty good seat. I highly reccommend looking at the seating chart for Radio City Music Hall before buying any from sellers. However I also reccommend checking EBAY and Ace Tickets for any that may be left. I hear they are going for nearly 1000 each if any are left...but check you might get lucky. See you there whom ever is going. I am thrilled. I tried so hard to get to the Liverpool Concert and found the same dilema trying to get tickets from this side of the pond. I just hope that it goes off without any changes. Ringo was supposed to come to NY and play at Bethel in Sept 08 (where the original Woodstock concert was held...now a Performing Arts Center)...and he cancelled. I was so mad...but now I forgive him....I just hope he doesn't pull the same stunt this time. Good Luck All!!

RE: Paul McCartney has officially become an oldies act.
I have to say ...........I do wish they had done Helter Skelter...really and also Money.... and Twist and Shout but I know those are John songs...even though he did do Helter Skelter at Boston in '05. The house almost came down for that one....

RE: Paul McCartney has officially become an oldies act.
Hello All - By the way for me...this show was awesome and anyone who does not understand what was happening there on that stage Sunday is uninformed and historically limited...sorry... Paul I luv ya..you did your mates proud!! It was a magical night OK here are the comments I would highlight: This concert was Macca paying homage to Liverpool. He's not going to pay homage to Liverpool by playing obscure B-sides to please bored fans that have seen him live 32 times. All the songs he played at the Liverpool Sound Concert were all great! It was 100% a brilliant show! I'm so glad to know people will be staying home when the next tour comes around. More tickets for those of us who love want to go. Great show tonight. Any chance that the naysayers on this board will understand this and get over their fantasies that Paul will perform *their* favorite songs, while neglecting the greatest songbook in rock history? I don't think so... Fantastic show, Paul. Since the Beatles put Liverpool on the music world's map I think it's only right he did so many songs from that era. I am very happy that Paul still wants to perform, and he can still outrock just about anybody on the planet. I will be honored if he tours and I can see him again! What's ironic is that you call his "lack of originality pathetic". That's odd - didn't he write most of those songs? And you're the one using the tired and recycled insults to attack a talented musician who is just trying to make people happy. Who lacks originality here?? I've seen the video and the changing to Give Peace A Chance was absolutely planned. ...Something was included because Olivia was in the audience and the fact that Yoko was there why A day in the life ended with give peace a chance. A day in the life was a goose pimple moment, the emotion in Maccas voice... The whole production of this concert was brilliant. Get a life... If fans are tired of these songs, make room for new fans. Me, I love the songs, the atsmosphere, the man. I will keep on going. Paul can sing the f**king phone book and I'll be there........ God, some people are never happy, they look for any chance to p*ss and moan. Don't like the setlist? Stay home. Easy enough, eh? I don't care what Paul plays as long as I see him sing and play songs on the stage!
