Thanks! I knew this was the place to go for answers, at least as far as is known.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales
I apologize if there's a post on this and I just can't find it. But does anyone know what's up with Paul's role in the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie? Just curious if anyone knows what he'll be doing.

RE: Scalpers own the ticket sales
Thanks for the moral support, everyone. I wish I could wait around Fenway on the day of the show to see what comes up but, like many others, I live too far away. For me, it's a 3 1.2 hour drive, accommodations, dog kenneling and taking a vacation day from work on Monday. Not to mention, parking and taxi expenses in Boston. I'm not expecting he will ever come to Maine and Boston is as close and he'll ever get. I know not everyone selling tickets are scalpers. I too had to sell extras one year, when I was able to score better seats at the presale and sold them at cost. But since I had no luck getting anything but offerings of singles in the nosebleed section at one minute past opening time, I am not optimistic that any other fans were able to get extras. The scalpers really do own the concerts. I'm betting they make more money off Paul McCartney than he does. I really don't believe he intends to have only rich people be able to afford to go.

Scalpers own the ticket sales
If someone who works for Sir Paul reads this, please pass on the wish that he find some other means for selling concert tickets I was locked out of the presale within just a couple minutes after they went on sale for Fenway in Boston. Tried again just now at the public sale and they were all sold out, again, within minutes. It can't be humans doing this. It must be some sort of computer thing. Of course, all the tickets are already available in the secondary market at double the price. For my husband and myself, $255 each are already an indulgence we can't responsibly afford, but we would do it anyway. Now, to get two tickets, we're looking at close to $1,000. We just can't push our finances that far. Thanks. I hope we can catch him again someday. Anna and George

RE: Silly questions for Paul
Does he still smoke cigarettes? Just curious. Nosy, perhaps.

RE: Halifax, NS - Halifax Common - 11th July 2009 - ARCHIVE
Thanks! I knew I could count on you guys! I've got two tickets. I feel terribly incompetant that I couldn't find out where/how to order online -- I kept ending up with second party sellers -- but your link worked like a charm. I only wish I had it yesterday. Section 10 of the VIP section is far, but very do-able!

RE: Halifax, NS - Halifax Common - 11th July 2009 - ARCHIVE
I'd been trying to figure out when the Nova Scotia tickets would go on sale and who would have them and now they are already gone. Nova Scotia is so close to Maine, I had my heart set on going. But I can't touch the scalper prices. Does the website still send out email? I wonder if I'm still on the list. Are there any other concerts scheduled in the Northeast?
