Beatle Barb, may i trust you will be at AT&T tomorrow night with us!?! IIRC, you're in Gilroy/Morgan Hill area? CalTrains should be a great way to get up there and back. Wonder if there will be any song surprises as Ram On was in UK.
A little more south of there....but hell yeah, I'm there up close and personal!!! I have my own bail $ and I ain't afraid to use it. Go big or go home!!
Barb, we'll be on the field, in the second section of seats on the opposite side from Brian (unfortunately) i think section 13 or 15... i'll try to keep my red TWU shirt visible. I think my old dad is pretty excited.
Great day and night! I had planned to wear my "This way up" shirt ,too, Christopher, but it was too bloody cold, so in the end I wore a red sweater instead. Had the best view of Paul that I have had at an actual concert in ages and I also thought that Paul and the Band seemed to make an extra effort to pump things up a notch last night. As a result nothing was lost by the technical difficulties, instead the Band seemed more attuned to each other than ever, if that is possible? (I think, Barb, that my friend Julie and I spoke to you while waiting to go into the soundcheck... I didn't make the connection before...?) I have some personal business to take care of today that I have been dreading for ages, but I know that you guys here will understand what I mean when I say that being there yesterday with the music, the humor, and the feelings of exaltation that always seem to come with these experiences I feel emboldened to face today . Today I feel really blessed to have had yesterday... No pun intended
best of luck with your endeavour, DisnyKristi! Yeah, last night was sublime..i've never learned how to do the sound check thing, but i assume it involves those VIP packages... i probably saw you walk right in front of me... i posted a photo of me wearing my shirt near my seats a few hours before the show, it's at Brian's website on the most recent blog thread That was ALL I HAD TO WEAR.. My 18 y.o. daughter confiscated my Giants sweatshirt, so i was freezing... but OH, the softness and the strechyness of the fabric Brian chose for the shirts made up for it... Somebody got a Love record signed...wonder if it made it back to the person who offered it up for signature...
