bought a solar ipod/mobile recharger today and the dip stick in the shop told me it didn't have a battery...you had to use in the daylight. So, when i got home and plugged my ipod into and put it out on the back garden table to see what would happen I thought it was pretty shit. Then I realised you just stick it out their to let it soak up power and stores it in a battery. It didn't seem too good when the sun went down and I used it but I'll after see how good it is after it get's fully charged.

Wouldn't it be great if we spent money on making life easier than on drink, and snacks etc.

RE: Post Anything You Want Thread!
Went into town with my dad and had a discussion about light and why we can't see it in the universe my dad said it was because 'it's in bit's n peices until it's in the atmosphere'. It is strange that it's there in the sun, so to speak then here on earth and we can't see it outside the atmosphere. I went in the library and asked the librarin if they had a computer to look for a book and when I'd used it to find a book she asked me if I'd found it and then said 'well done'!! Well done!!! All I had to do was type a keyword, Radiohead if you wanna know, and then find where about in the library the music section was then look under 816.70. Patroinishig cow. Luckily it wasn't the librarain i'm besotted with...she's cool!

RE: Post Anything You Want Thread!
I was playing around with IE the other day for the first time in years and noticed when I searched using the google search toolbox it found things in my files in my comptuer!! I was pretty stunned at first even though I quickly realised it didn't mean they were indexing my files for anyone to find. But then later I noticed when I installed the google desktop search on my Vista quick access bar that when I searched using that it brought up search finds from documents that I'd actually not saved or had saved and then reopened and saved again after changing them and it seemed to still have the deleted content indexed! Is it just me or is anyone else bothered by that? Is there anything I can do to stop google indexing every bloomin' thing I type?

actually dont know Mclenarr, and I cannot find where I grabbed that pic from.. might have said. I'm guessing its 1967, possible around MMT. Here's one of Paul & Mick, perhaps around Pepper sessions? http://hphotos-snc3.fbcdn.net/hs170.snc3/19758_1330615991236_1406095477_916056_5483478_n.jpg

I other Rubber Soul classics deserve airtime.
Eh? There's only 2 Rubber Soul classics by Paul! Then again he could do In my life. It'd have made more sense to do that in Liverpool when debuted ADITL live.

Did you know that the 'tusk' of a narwal is not actually a tusk at all? Do you know what it actually is and where the point of origin is typically located on the head (hint: not the forehead as the imaginary unicorn tusk located)?
it's made of hair isn't it?

fan4life:
- this fan noticed that macca opened the london show of Dec 17 with "matchbox", which was the song that pete best usually sang with the beatles. Why significant? Co-incidence: dec 17th was also the exact ddate..the 50th anniversary, of the beatles FIRST-EVER performance in UK as "the beatles". happened at the casbah coffee club. look it up. Was sir paul sending kudos to former bandmate pete who was hosting an anniversary event that same night at the casbah ? 2) related? this past year, sir paul promintently featured his former original bandmate pete best in the up & coming pre-concert video. Large photos of pete...and large photos of just pete and paul. Anyone else notice. ? That's a first..never been done before where sir paul has included pete in anything.,,yet there it is , larger that life in those massive pics in the video. So, who else noticed? I took photos of it if you want t osee...including an interesting photo with caption that says "beatles secrets". And,,hey pauly, that "outtake" from "Saturday night live" on dec 11 leaves me with the observation: if you dont release unfinished material or bootlegs, why would you be posting on the website an "outtake" sketch.? It's a "LIVE" show..there is no such thing as aouttakes..unless the spot was filmed deliberately in advance. The irony? Macca "Acting" as a wanna-be employment counselor...which is the line o fgovt work that, again, former bandmate pete best got involved with when he first retired from the music biz in mid-60's. Macca says i always wanted to be an employment counselor". Inside joke ? So...webmaster...what's the scoop on those incidents, especially matchbox on Dec 17..and the large pics of pete in the preconcert videos. ? Come on..macca doesn't do anything accidentally. that stuff was intentional..so..lets hear about it.. PM me if you dont want to post it...or if you want to see the pics from the pre-concert video. They are surpising pics.
interesting post!!

The lyrics to Dylan's Rainy day women #12 & 35 are derived from the bible. Proverbs 27:15"A continual dropping in a very rainy day and a contentious woman are alike")
