RE: Verified Fan
I have had time to get even more upset by the Waiting List.  I feel really let down by Ticketmaster.  Iâve been a good customer buying  $2000. tickets every year since 2009.  They know Iâm not a scalper, I only buy 1 or 2 at a time.  I have always purchased the TM VIP , some have turned out to be good, some not so good but at least I had free choice., I made the decision to buy or not.  Now itâs not free choice, itâs no choice.
l really hope this is temporary. Â It has driven me to either give up and donât go or buy from the scalpers at almost 3,000$ Â They have raised their prices to off set any losses.
I have been up front for so long ,I tried a cheaper seat once but.......

I gotta say, I hate the way Ticketmaster does their business. To get McCartney tickets youâve gotta register for pre-sale. So I do, I register. Then I get an email a day or 2 later saying that Iâm on the âwaitlistâ, and âshould more tickets become available, registrants will be randomly selected and notified via text messageâ. Which is already a buncha BS.
It gets worse: I then go to StubHub and theyâve already got nearly 2,000 tickets available!
So Ticketmaster does it this way, they say, to keep bots from buying tickets so the real fans can. Well guess what, itâs NOT WORKING! Iâm as big a Macca fan as anyone, been a mega fan for 45 (or more) years, but I might have to restort to paying ridiculous amounts of money to get nosebleed seats! I had/have plans to take my 9 year old son, who LOVES all Paul and the Beatles, to his first concert in Fort Wayne. It would be a very special, once in a lifetime experience that weâd share together that he would NEVER forget for the rest of his life. Hope these a-holes donât blow it for us. It shouldnât be this difficult. Itâll be crushing if it doesnât work out.
Ugh!  I'm in the same boat!  I just want the dang code!!
i got on the waiting list too, I feel snubbed. Â Itâs made me change my mind about going...feels punishing .

Billy Joel is playing MSG next week on the 23rd; maybe Paul will show up and then play a secret gig a day or two afterwards if he is in the NYC area (Hamptons). This will keep him in the news cycle leading up to the release of the lp (The Carpool Karaoke special on CBS Monday will help as well). Debating on going as I am seeing ELO at the Garden the night before and I already saw Billy last month for his 100th. Thoughts?
Paul has been in LA recently, but of course that doesn't mean he couldn't be back in the Hamptons by the 23rd, the way he jetsets around.   Guesting with Billy, who knows? He's obviously had many chances and will have many more.  BTW just saw ELO and it is a great show.

Very happy with the fan pre-sale. The system actually works. Got two good tickets for the Quebec City show Sept. 17, 2018. Thanks Ticketmaster.
It only works if you are lucky enough to be selected or are ready to a pay a 500 dollar premium (on top of the 275) per ticket.
I was selected (Montreal 1pm presale) and I got zip. Congrats Birmingham!
I got a good ticket but had to fight for it.  Access code, etc never came but I manage to wrestle a ticket from them anyway.  Had to go on my old laptop to get it,  TM knows it .  Managed 4th row center ".....Iâm as happy as a bird
Was this Hot Sound Package? No code was needed for any VIP tickets.
Hot Sound.  I was into trying the Verification route but as usual PM.com tickets does not work as well as TM .  I wasted 30 minutes waiting for the access code.  Checked all VIPâs all wanted a code at first , this eventually cleared.  âď¸Â  I had set my location as Quebec on TM , missed the button to change back to US & lost a ticket in the 3rd row.  Thought I was sunk anyway so i went on my old laptop and got a ticket in a few minutes much to my surprise. for some reason, this is the only of the 4 Canada shows that doesn't list presale info on the Ticketmaster page. Just says "on sale Friday July 13"
I don't think TM sells these tickets. Â I think you have to buy from Evenko. Â See the link that 5th Beatle posted above.
Thanks - but the link still takes you to TM verified fan

RE: Paul Supports Wetnose Day animal charity
Good news from California: I just got a letter from my Senator that bill AB 485 has passed & was signed into law by the Gov on Oct 13 this year. And I quote "AB 485 prohibits a pet store from selling a live cat, dog or rabbit unless they were obtained from a public animal shelter, non-profit, or animal rescue organization". Hopefully this will end mass breeding & puppy dog mills, etc. How the new law goes into effect will be interesting, I expect PETA will be very busy collecting puppies, kittens & rabbits that have been abandoned because the market is closed. Next time you see a pet store it will be full of mice, I guess. This goes in my Only In California list.

RE: NYC, NY - Madison Square Garden - 9/15 and 9/17 - CONFIRMED
I was at the second show so no Bruce but that's alright I've seen him several times. Mainly want to say we had another really great show by Paul &the band.. And the people were fantastic too. I met some new people right away, we all had Paul stories to tell, I got to tell my old Beatle chasing stories which always Warms my heart â¤ï¸Â. I had way more fun at Paul 's concert with his fans then I did on my big deal vacation to Europe this past July. Friendly people make all the difference, those cruise Ă°??¢ people were too stuck up to be any fun, at least I know not to waste my money on that again. Definitely want to see Paul again next year, hope he's into it too. Coolest part for me was Blue Suade Shoes at sound check and all the way back to Love â¤︠Me Do, the first record we had in 63, it was a 45! It's raining a little now inNYC, I love it, walked all over the place, no problem. It's exciting with the United Nations and all going on, nothing like this ever happens at home. Have great time Brooklyn tonight, don't let the rain â??︠bother you. Wear a hat, it's a tad windy for an umbrella. Cheers Ă°?ÂÂť

RE: NYC, NY - Madison Square Garden - 9/15 and 9/17 - CONFIRMED
Hi ya all! I made it to NYC. I stay at the nearest hotel to the venue...always have so I can get back easily. This hotel is next door to MSG but room is tiny & not so cheap. Glad to have made it here. Always feel like I won the lottery when I finally get to where I'm going.. Would rather win Paul's guest contest.....â??ï¸ÂĂ°??ÂĽĂ°???â??ï¸Ââ??ï¸Ââ??︠Anyone know who did?

RE: Sacramento, CA - Golden 1 Center - Oct. 4th/5th - ARCHIVE
ScrambledTofuLegs:
Had a weird, disconnected feeling the whole night for some reason. Paid 2086$ for the front row and was seated slightly off to the left, Paul didn't look to our side once. He did, during USSR nod to a couple next to me who were very nice, which was cool. It seemed like he mostly sang to a group of teenage girls in the front middle rows. I hoped for just slightly more for so much money, I had a huge sign and was so excited after waiting forever for this. Much different than my experience in Fresno. Also seemed like the Golden 1 wasn't prepared for how many of us there were for the VIP, because I couldn't find a place to sit when they served the food. Security wouldn't let us leave the room and walk around, and I felt pretty cooped up and bored in between the soundcheck and the concert. It's hard having to go to these things alone, but for 2,000+$, It's all I or anyone around me can afford.
I've been there. Sounds like the same exact seat. This wouldn't happen to people if they would go back to showing the exact location of the seat you are spending so much money for On the Seating Chart. This is the only time I my life that I've had to do that, pay for something without knowing what it is. I think it's a mistake to do this because people feel ripped off when find themselves unexpectedly in the end zones. Don't think Paul's into fighting Ticketmaster on this. So we just make do. Its not just you, keep trying but next time facing the stage, don't take a low number in the right section and don't take a high number in the left section & don't take any wooden nickels.
