I did not feel he seemed less happy at 9-11 show. A couple of times he turned around and shook his butt, which I thought was pretty amusing and even cute, haha. He moved around less than in years past. When he faked crowd surfing, we all gasped, and I said not at his age and then we said not at the AUDIENCES age either. HA. I completely agree that he sounded much better than last summer at Giants stadium. But outdoor venues also suffer with their sound, especially in the cheaper seats. An amateur observation, but he is wise to let the band sing with him, it smooths out his voice, and sounds good too.

RE: Newark, NJ/Prudential Center/Sept 11 & 12 - CONFIRMED
I am the one upgraded to section 9. The 2 seats behind us were empty so we got to stand and dance at will, haha. We also found it comfortable to sit up the edge of the chair folded up, sort of a 1/2 sit, 1/2 stand. Nice position for old knees. And YES to previous comments, first the drinking, we had more drunks in front of us in 9. In one funny moment, when Paul mentioned John, the girl was yelling, "oh YES, John was his BEST FRIEND, his very best friend" in a drunken loud voice. (we were saying to each other, it was a complicated relationship). And we kept telling these duds in our section who were leaving after Paul left stage for 1st time, hey he will play for 20 more minutes, do not leave! But they all left anyway. And lastly, I an NO EXPERT like you all on this board, but I did live through the Wings era and love when Paul plays Wings. And many around me did not seem familiar with most Wings songs that were played. I loved the concert, one of my favorite ever, maybe after the 1st one I saw in AC in 2002 (?) I was just so glad to hear his voice so much better than last year at Giants stadium. Whole band seemed to have loads of energy, we were sitting close enough to appreciate that. I did not even watch the screens on the sides, as I could see the actual band easily enough.

RE: Newark, NJ/Prudential Center/Sept 11 & 12 - CONFIRMED
Hope I am posting this in a helpful thread. We were at the show last night in Newark, 9-11. Enjoyed it very much, he sounds much better at inside arenas, of course. This was my 5th show, AC, PHL, Brooklyn, Giants stadium before this. OK, so we had seats in 112. I will start this that when we got to our seats, it was early, and there was a large man sprawled into 3 seats, legs onto the row in front of him. My seat? Right next to him. It was man spreading to the MAX. Ugh, I thought. Kill me now. He struggled to stand to let us into the row, almost falling down, I thought he was handicapped and felt a little worried for him. My friend told me later that in fact he was very drunk, instead. I went out to use restroom and saw a line, randomly in the missile of the concourse. Asked what it was for, first couple did not know, just got on it, haha. I did too, then was told IT WAS TO EXCHANGE SEATS FOR BETTER SEATS. I saw a pile of old tickets on floor in front of an employee who had a stack of tickets in her hand. Hmm. I got to head and was asked, do you want to sit on the FLOOR? Sure I said. But I had to run and get my friends ticket, which I did, but then was told they were only exchanging 200s tickets, NOT 100s like I had. So small groups would line up and get new tickets, I stood off to the side, as it was approaching 7:30 pm. I asked again and was refused again. (I was SUPER POLITE). I ran to restroom, and returned again, and there was no line, and she still had tickets. WELL, she hooked us UP!!! OMG!! We refused the floor tickets (in back I think, by now) and she gave us Section 9, NINE, row 9, NINE. On the end, 17&18. Best seats EVER. Much of the section was other re-settled people. Some empty seats stayed empty too, not too many. I post this because it is possible they will be exchanging tickets tonight as well. The new tickets look like a hard ticket, but say complimentary $0 on them. The distribution I saw and used was outside section 112/113. I will never forget sitting so close at a Paul concert.

Just realized I did not have to deal with any captchas!? Did things change? Got me wondering whether my tix are legit! Anyone else experience this?
You are correct, none of those "tests" for me either. I ended up with $172 seats, plus fees, it is $420 for 2 seats. It is so expensive, but similar to what I have been paying the last several years. I am glad it is not outside, paying this much for a stadium is worse.

This was the worst pre-sale McCartney has ever had... the general onsale for Friday will now be virtually impossible.
Oddly, it was the easiest for me. But was aiming for Newark not MSG. I just kept clicking, not continuously, but on and off for 10 minutes. Last time I had tickets in my cart, and it hung at the payment screen. I learned the hard way, that Safari sometimes does this at the payment screen. Never got those tickets. Good luck all!

Keep trying! Got Newark, section 112. Took about 10-15 minutes to get it to break thru.

Anyone else hung at the payment screen, tickets in cart?? Are my seats gone? Ugh, I had my CC all set up in there, no idea why this is happening. It says there is a timer to show when they expire, but no timer on my screen.

Last time I saw Paul was in Brooklyn, got shut out of tickets a few times. Even though I have seen him 4X in the last 10 years, I feel like a newbie on ticket strategy. I am confused about the pre-sales? There is an AMEX one, and also a fan club one? Is that code 1ON1WITHPAUL for AMEX? Or is that for fans of this site, to click on the links on this site? Sorry if I sound completely out of the loop and if the question is obvious. Thanks! I hope to see Paul in Philly or NJ. Prefer Philly. PS we saw Bruce in Philly and got the Hall of Fame section seats, and loved it. We felt pretty special, haha. Even the restrooms were nicer, and no lines. Will try for those if they are available.

OMG I am on vacation at Disneyworld, and will still be here when the presale goes live. I guess the parks will have to wait.

I'm showing no tickets available? Wasn't there a sale for 1000?
Apparently not one seat available today, for either show?? Sounds weird to me, but that is what Ticketmaster says. WHY have us wait for 10 am, then show no seats? Why not just have on the website, SOLD OUT? I do not get Ticketmaster. So glad I waited patiently for 10 am this morning.
OK, I DID keep trying. Site is a bit wonky. It seems to work better when you do NOT use the best available options. Goes thru more often when I picked a price and/or a section. Got so-so seats but at least I'm going!
