For anyone who hasn't purchased a ticket, there have been some GREAT $350 seats coming up on Ticketmaster today. Certainly much better than the "Best Available" ones I purchased the day they went on sale! Still, I'm very psyched for this show.

RE: Ticket-purchasing advice
My experience with Ticketmaster in NY is that they seem to encourage panic buying with the top-shelf acts. I logged on at the exact second tickets for Barclay's on June 8th went on sale, selected "best available" and got the "your selection is not available" message. I finally brought up side stage section 28 $350 seats and pulled the trigger. Since then, better seats have popped up, despite the "quantity limited " disclaimer that's been there for 3 weeks or so. Stub Hub has tickets in my section for $120 cheaper than what I paid. I know that Paul uses the video screen extensively so I'm kicking myself for jumping the gun (but still excited to see him from whatever location).

For anyone still looking for the $229 tickets, they have been popping up on Ticketmaster today (5/30).

There are some pretty decent $350 seats still popping up. As usual with TM, it's not always best to buy early. They seem to dump the less desirable seats first, then the better ones. The "Not many left!" notice has been there for a while, yet every day I pull up seats together. To the best of my knowledge, Barclay's doesn't participate in TM's exchange policy so if you buy early and select "Best available" and then better seats pop up, it would seem you're stuck with your original purchase. Still, I'm very much looking forward to seeing Paul in my hometown on a Saturday night.
