Yeah, I was looking for four in any section at any price. Yesterday and this morning on Ticketmaster, I even scaled it back to two seats with no luck. Thank goodness for the fan club sales.

Success -- I finally got in to the Crowdsurge fan site on the fifth try and scored four seats with good sightlines. We're up fairly high, but we're going to the second show -- and we didn't pay inflated scalper prices, either. I never WAS able to get back onto the Ticketmaster site. Total fail from their end. I cleared cookies, rebooted my machine, etc. Customer support email said I may have been blocked as a suspected scalper because I'd been on the page so constantly for two days trying (unsuccessfully) to get tix. IRONY! Thanks, everyone! Peace, Randy

Our daughters were both planning to come home from unviersity for the show, so waiting until closer to the show wouldn't give us time to plan the logistics. I think we're done.

For the record, I was logged into my Ticketmaster account and leapt at 10 AM on the dot. Tickets seemed to vanish in under a minute and then the whole site crashed. Same result with the worthless Live Nation app. Well, that's that. The Macca fan club pre-sale didn't work, the Live Nation pre-sale didn't work, and the general sales didn't work. I spent three days trying and got nowhwere. That's the Hat Trick of corporate fail. Isn't great how our consumer needs are being met by the merger of titans lke Live Nation and Ticketmaster? Sad day in Edmonton. But there arte already more than 2000 tickets up on StubHub. The clear moral to this story is that scalpers win and fans lose in Alberta. We're just crushed. They probably need to go to a system where tix are sold online but can only be picked up at the venue with an ID. That's how presales for Roger Waters/The Wall worked here, and it went off without a hitch. But who knows, maybe Tickmetmaster and StubHub are in cahoots.
