Dawn, I had an amazing time!!!! Both Houston and Dallas were rockin'!! In Houston, they added "Midnight Special" to the playlist (Leadbelly's song about being in jail in Houston usually performed during the sound checks). And after they played Good Day Sunshine, the Space Shuttle Discovery astronauts came out on stage!! Each one was introduced to a roar of applause. It was sooo cool!!! In Dallas, the opening music changed (won't spoil it for ya'). Paul was in rare form. A man in the front row was eating popcorn and Paul commented that he was hungry and it looked really good so the man offered it to him. Security took the popcorn bucket to Paul who started eating the popcorn and shared it with the band. Afterwards, he gave the bucket back. It was so funny!!! During Brian's introduction, he mentioned it was Syd's birthday (his guitar tech) so on the count of three, the audience yelled "Happy Birthday Syd!" Oh and btw....all that practicing paid off....Brian nailed "y'all".....
Hi, Diane! I'm glad to know you had enjoyed the show!! Thanks for reporting!

Well....a week on and my favourite is still If You're Leaving Me. It really is such a beautifully sad song and Brian sounds fantastic. Anyone else got a firm favourite yet or are you all chopping and changing??
choppin' and changin' here...but god i love *if you're leaving me* GAHHHH so lovely.
I think I am going to end up chopping and changing a lot, too!! :
Ahh! *if you're leaving me* is sad lovely song.. I love it, too! It seems opposite side of Brian's image and caught my heart! My favorite is Soft Machine. We know Etta and Brian's long firm relationgship and 2 of them singing so powerful and sexy. This song is filled with energy. 2 big musician's souls are sparkling.

Hi, Caro! Yes, Brian's songs, Good for nothing and Coming up roses are excellent. Rest of songs must be cool, you know!

Thank you, thank you She is our precious new granddaughter. Allison Lois (named after paternal grandmother, recently deceased) They all were just here, so granmommy got to hold her for 2 hours She was the reason on Paul's opening night I was so upset.....leaving home to go to Paul's concert and baby was READY......I was BAWLING my eyes out the night before we left and again as we were leaving. Then no venus and Mars......I was a basket case on overload. Finally grandmommy (me) listened to *TOO MANY TEARS* and calmed down. Now sweet baby is here and healthy, Mom's tummy is almost flat within a week (like wow) and I don't care what Paul sings ~~just glad he's touring. Another chapter in *MY LIFE* ((((Hugs))))) Judy
Hi, Judy and Allison! Beautiful baby! Congrats!

OMG!!! This is fantastic!! I guess most of the songs are going to sound a bit different since we heard them live first. So really, it's like we're getting twice as many songs, right?
Yes - that's exactly right!! After Anywhere But Home, Good For Nothing was my favourite live one. The chorus is just so catchy...good choice for a [generous] second release. Thanks, Brian.
I agree , songs often sound different live to on cd , but i love Good For Nothing !! So it's great to hear it again . Can't wait to hear all of Mondo Magneto !! I think that Anywhere But Home , was my favourite too that night .... along with I Liked You Better When I Was Drunk [ that's such a great song title ] and also Going Down Swinging !! Well actually they were all great !!!!!
Good for nothing is really great! I love it! I wonder how did he arranged live version! You are lucky, you enjoy 2 paterns of this song!

Hi, everyone!! Just asking a small favor here. . . The shows I (and others) will be attending are more than 2 months away and as we're hoping to retain some element of surprise regarding the setlist, would you please post ****SPOILER***** at the top of your post so I/we may skip quickly past it?? Thanks for your consideration.
I can understand you!!!! Last year, when I decided to go 04 summer at Paris show, I decided not to listen any McCartney songs and see reviews before a month. There were 2 reasons, I wanted to keep my ear fresh and I was too excited to do my job!

I'm glad we have another Paul fan! No matter how young! It's never too early to teach a child to have good taste in music!!! It'll be interesting to hear how he reacts to Mondo Magneto!! Hmmmmm.....maybe I should play Paul's new cd for my neighbor's parrot! He loves Etta James and Zallen! Maybe Chaos and Creation would calm him down some.....he chatters all the time!
Exactly, I'm looking forward to see my baby's reaction when he listen MM! I've already ordered MM to the Beatles Club in Japan, they deal with Brian's autographed CD, too! I ordered 5, but I will not be able to open, you know! I need not signed one for listening!!

BTW, I've received Paul's new CD this evening. I'm listening it with my baby now. Kenji smiled when the music started! Amazing! Because he was crying just before! I wish he will sleep soon! (It's midnight here in Japan.)
Miho , how are you Sounds like Kenji is turning into a very young Paul McCartney fan !!! Hope the music does the trick and sends him off to sleep for you . Let us know what his favourite track is
Hi, Dawn! Thanks to Paul, Kenji slept well last night! His favourite changes everytime, I think!
