Way, way back in the mists of 1993, I paid a scalper $500 for a pair of front row tickets in Boulder, CO. Knowing that face value was $31.50, it was still worth it for all the personal attention we got from Paul, Linda and Robbie, since I was in front of Robbie. Two fans on the other side of us bought from the same scalper the day tickets went on sale and paid $1,000 for the pair. I waited until the day of the concert. I did have back up tickets, but wanted to be in the front row in my hometown.

You made it happen! Another avenue to the front row.......... Sounds like it was a fun show!!!

Last short EU leg - since it's proper general admission standing over here - the price winners were let in to the venue early, providing themselves with the best spots. Oh, and that was after they were attending the soundcheck. Oh, wait, and after a personal meet and greet and photo opportunity with the artist of the evening.

Okay, KLBJ has REALLY got to up the pkg. for the prizewinners in Austin.....they just get the tickets......no word on if they're any good either.... ops:

I just can't pass up an opportunity to talk about my 1st row center stage at Cardiff, Wales in 2010. I do believe it was one day when I got more than I ever dreamed possible. My ticket was for 1-3 rows, bought it from "Get Me In". Left for Wales a week early & didn't know where my seat actually was, got to the hotel & opened my ticket, I did not believe it. Got to the concert & still did not believe it, I kept expecting someone to come up & make me move. I remember Eric Clapton standing stage side, kidding around with some of us & dancing !(he dances like an American Indian at a PowWow). I'm sure you all know the part of the concert when Paul brings out Jimi Hendrix's guitar. Well at this concert he did this bit right in front of me. He had a look on his face like he was about to spring something on us & he began to play "Foxy Lady", then he began to sing the words!!!!!!He was looking right at me. When I reacted by dropping my jaw in surprise he looked me in the eye & smiled. I'll never forget his eyes, black & dancing. May they always be so.

You will be sent instructions as to what time to report to the venue. In St. Louis, check-in was between 3 and 3:45 PM. Line, indoors, started before 3 PM.

It's pretty much guaranteed you can't leave and re-enter. If you are going to an indoor venue, you will not be going outside.

Well that's okay, I don't want to miss anything anyway and a patch works great, just not quite the same though.

Last time Paul played Phoenix, while waiting to go in, I was talking to a couple who had front row center. Hadn't paid a dime. I asked him how and he knew one of the local sponsors who had no interest in the tickets so he gave a pair to this couple. I asked if he wanted to trade, but he said no.

So some tickets do go to sponsors, sounds like its a mixed bag, some to everyone, fans included.

I won tix from an Iowa radio station to go to Cleveland in 2002 . . .nosebleed seats But they paid for rounddtrip airfare, hotel, Rock/Roll Hall of Fame for 2 plus $100 spending cash . . .I would have sacrificed all that other stuff (OK maybe not the airfare) for front row. I hadn't seen Paul in 12 years!

Wow! KLBJ in Austin is giving away JUST tickets, no plane or fame or cash? They really need to get on board here and up the prize level!

I was EXTREMELY LUCKY for Boston, I got Front Row CENTER-which NEVER happens. Front Row pkgs are always the side sections. Front Row Center is for friends, local VIP, and some lucky fans that are brought down from the nosebleed seats.

Congrats! And I hope its some lucky fans in the seats.

Yes and Brian and Rusty run directly INTO that firestorm as they criss cross the stage during that song AND they play guitar at the same time. Max respect to them!

I had front row center in stockholm 2011, it was the regular pre-sale. it was the very very best seat of the whole venue.

Must've felt like you won the lottery!!! How did you like being up there for "Live and Let Die"? Were the fireworks right on top of you? Were you blinded by the light? I think I would've brought my sunglasses for that song, lol!

I was front row a couple years ago right next to the pyro pot directly under Rusty. YES it was super hot and YES it was super LOUD. Even hunched down with my ears covered bc I knew it was coming it was intense. excellent!

The flame pots are very, very HOT (as in temperature), and bright, and the explosions are very loud, and if there are sparklers, be careful not to look up, as you can easily get a cinder in the eye. I've seen Paul's head of security go through the pit just before the song starts to move all the venue security people out of there. I always just duck if I'm that close. And as to people in the front row middle, at the US shows, there are definitely some exceptions but it seems it's usually young and attractive people who get picked (however that happens) to be in those seats. Some of the young guys and girls front row center in Vancouver looked like models but they were all dancing and having a great time, and Paul gave them a lot of attention during the show.

Wow! This show may even top Led Zeppelin's and The Who's concerts back in the seventies! (yes, I'm in my fifties). Lol, Take note 1st row people, DUCK and COVER! I'll know if they're models or Paul fans just by if they are surprised when the pyro explosions start up, lol! We'll find out.......I'll let you know after the show.
