21st Century Paul:
d'ya know what? this is getting a bit surreal cause we're reproducing the discussions a.. "non-virtual" band has.
Same in any band, you'll notice, it's whats going on when creative minds work together!! Congratulations on joining your own band BTW!

If I may say so myself...despite the flaws and a couple of cringe-inducing sections, there are a few spots where I sound just like Paul! Or, perhaps, I have a grand, inflated sense of self.
Well, you could make an inflated replica of yourself, and put it on sale here!

Such a beautiful tribute from Paul, telling us how strong his love for John was! So, finding those sorts of emotions myself, was very easy, remembering loved ones that are no longer here with me...but the memories are, and those remain...
Gorgeous. Simply gorgeous.
Thanks A! Here is the song for download, if someone bothers! http://rapidshare.com/files/437977500/Here_Today_-_Bjorn_-_Global_Wings.mp3

This week, has been a creative final of the year for me in many ways, Been working on a BIG Christmas show, for a long time. I was putting up "A Christmas Carol" with 25 kids at school, that I've been working with the last two months, and a program of 15 Christmas songs with choirs and different arrangements kids playing all sorts of instruments. And finally on Tuesday evening we premiered the 2,5 h show in front in a crowded gymnastic hall, transferred to a 19th century town, really went fantastic!! Of course you never fail when parents come and see their own kids, but the performances were really great, and I even managed to keep it together , doing the presentations, being choir leader, etc. Helping the students to succeed is so fulfilling, really love the job I have! These kind of project at work are really stimulating, but maybe a reason I don't do as much songs around here. BUT I do get a three week winter holiday soon, that could lead to something good, you never know!

Hey Audi, Hotfile is really stinky, only one download per hour, there are lots of better sites to share your songs with... http://www.zshare.net/ http://www.filedropper.com/ http://www.mediafire.com/index.php
Thank you, B. -a

You knew I actually couldn't wait to get my hands on this, didn't you? Here's how it should be done (IN MY OPINION). Not saying it is perfect, but you know... Oliver, I liked your "ooooooh's" (well, some of them at least), so I kept some in. http://rapidshare.com/files/437789648/Audi_-_My_Brave_Face___Eve.mp3
Great work Audi!! This is one of the songs that I've skipped doing myself purposely, so much going on, would take an eternity to complete! Evie blends in the mix nicely too! My ears almost died at first , the levels on some frequencies was not so pleasing, so I did a quick remix, taking away some of the dangerously high hissing sounds etc... http://rapidshare.com/files/437981021/Audi_-_My_Brave_Face___Eve_REMIX.mp3
Sounds very lush now! Yay!!! I was secretly hoping that you would put your inimitable stamp on it. Isn't it great that we're having a lively discussion about MUSIC again?

I appreciate your commitment to the kids, ol' pal. Maybe you could post some of that footage here from time to time? And -- by all means -- please grace us with new GW tracks whenever feasible, however, I really like the remixes you've been sharing. All are contenders for that fantasy GlobalWingspan Anthology I've daydreamed about. And where the hell are Gary and Val anyway?????

Oh, that is easy helping out with that stuff! Just helping you get your song a bit more polished! Anyhow, we can easily slip away from the music to something completely different, that is the least problem in here!!

My advice for you, start recording your tracks on your computer, that helps with having more control over the tracks and the quality of the output!

That is good, since it is for free, I use SONAR Cakewalk myself, but Audacity would do just fine!

my Christmas project is uncertain... I've been having a cold, so you know the story... I don't know if could sing it or not. I've thought of a game... Let's do it anyway. CHRISTMAS GAME 2010 The game is guessing what's the song I've planned for covering for these Christmas. It will not be exactly a cover of a song, but a mix of many with some original recording stuff in, but way MOST of the recording will be based on a Christmas song. So anyone can pick up a Christmas song you think I'm planning to record. What's the prize? If you're the first one to guess it right, you can request me to record a cover of one song you like, even if it's something I don't like... like Spice Girls stuff or so.
this song????
no, I thought about it but no, maybe the way this throat virus goes I'll do that instead of my idea...
What about 12 days of Christmas?
no, mistake, actually I don't even know this one

Thank you. Only I wouldn't mind if our band played a little bit more... Actually we haven't played again. I know it's not gonna be like The Beatles, and playing every day but well, all I can do is wait for the next rehearsal. These days virtual bands work more than the "real ones". The only problem is that we can't perform together... maybe with a broadcast through Windows Messenger or so... Live Online.

Audacity is great, I don't use it cause is quite slow. But it has a looot of options. Only I don't use all that so a faster an older program is good enough for me. There's a song of mine I recorded as usual but I noticed a loud hiss, so I took it to Audacity and managed to reduce it quite a lot.
