PAUL AND NANCY ARE MARRIED!
-
I can't believe people are still talking about the tiara. The whole tiara business came from the Daily Mail. It was entirely speculation. : There's no photo of her trying on a tiara, or even picking up a tiara. And unless the DM has implanted a chip in Nancy's head to tell us what she's shopping for, they don't know. ... It's crazy. The question is: Will Paul and Nancy get married this weekend? I doubt it. Stella's spring collection show is in Paris on Oct. 3 and I bet she's too busy to pause for a party. It'll be sometime after. That's my speculation for the day. I hope Nancy is providing some nice comfort in the wake of the ballet blues.

actually, there was a picture of her standing by a display of tiarras in a store looking at them. So it's not 100% speculation. and she may have been considering it for Stella's fasion thingie as well as Halloween. (I'll be at a Science fiction convention out of town that weekend myself. The fashions there will hopefully be more interesting).

I've seen the photo. She's walking by a hat rack. There's not a single "tiara" in sight.

YOu are aware the simpler technology is sufficient to tell what one person is buying, like a camera?

Apropros of nothing, thinking of headwear and fascinators particularly, my head did a knights-move leap to this from George Gerswin:
I wandered in here because my calculations suggest the waiting period is now served and wedding watchers should be on high alert. Any other musical pieces spring to mind to entertain the watchers? Martin -
I get a festive image of weddings. I guess I am relating to a Jewish Wedding where it is a celebration for the whole community love doris

Anyone thinking the big day is tomorrow?
-
Well they'd have the weather for it. We're having an Indian Summer here with temps high 20s. Yesterday in London it was recorded at 28.8° C in Kew Gardens. And the chance of rain is 0% Martin

Right. So, show me the photo where Nancy is trying on a tiara or even picking one up, and I'll praise the Daily Mail for its well-known accuracy. Like the story it wrote this week calling Paul a "double divorcee."

No. Stella's got some big fashion thingie she has every year about this time and Paul never misses those.

I'm just responding that chips are not neccessary in this case.

I emailed and complained about that article. Very poor journalism.

Well you never know. Would be glorious weather if they have chosen this weekend. It's like the South of France in my little corner of Wiltshire today.

There was another column a few days ago. It was hilariously bad. It was by some therapist named (of all things) Linda Blair and she was giving Nancy advice on marrying a famous person. I'm not kidding. They even had this little drawing of Nancy laying on a therapist's couch. I'd have been embarrassed to put my name on such a stupid column.

OMG and WTFRack? I'm glad I didn't see that one. and I think complaining about the poor journalism was a way to go.

While we watch news items, I was surprized to find Westminster Register Office listed amongst a list of top ten most romantic wedding venues: Top Ten Most Romantic Wedding venues - click here Of course, in part the fame is due to celebrities using it - amongst the earliest being Paul of course... Martin
-
Spurred on by that thought, I googled interior shots and find the official site does have interior shots: http://www.westminster.gov.uk/services/communityandliving/registrar/marriage/councilhouse/ Now whch would you favour? The Yellow Room, The Blue Room, The Purple Room or the wood panelled Reception Room? If, as reported, this is to be a small family do then the intimacy of the two smaller rooms would suit better, and I personally favour the slightly grander Blue Room - but think a woman would opt for the lighter Yellow Room? Martin
-
I'd go for the yellow room. The purple room is where Mary recently married Simon.
