audi, thats an awesome reference of live clips you're building! I'm going to go in and listen to a bunch of them Don't remember exactly what year it was, maybe 93? when Paul did Fool On The Hill. that song really shocked me at the time. I literally thought I had died and gone to heaven the stuff sounded so amazing. that flute solo bit honestly that moment had a large impact on my Paul love. per se.
Paul did "Fool On The Hill" on the '89/'90 world tour with the full band. It re-appeared in the set in '02 during Paul's solo spot -- just him on piano. Pretty much all the Beatle songs were OMG!-worthy in '89, becuae he was finally embracing his Beatle legacy.

Very true, thats why that Tripping the Live album just resonates so much. especially taking into account it was the first tour comeback from Paul. they killed it all. btw did Paul bust out Please Please Me ever? like in 2005 during the encore? why do I remember being shocked by that one? maybe it could have been another real early John song.

That '05 "Please Please Me" was a highlight; wasn't it? I re-watch it a lot on my Space... DVD.

I was alll set to add it to the list, but it's already in it. I need to visit my thread more.

Here's a couple of rare rarities! Great Day (live in 2005):
Comfort of Love (soundcheck in 2005): In fact Great Day should make it onto the list under the 2005 section! Very random (but awesome) performance! I'll add it now! ________________________________________________________ 1990: Strawberry Fields Forever/Help/Give Peace A Chance Birthday __________________________________________________________ 1991: That Would Be Something __________________________________________________________ 1992: Fixing A Hole (1993 MTV Special) __________________________________________________________ 1993: Another Day Ain't No Sunshine (good luck finding video/audio of this one!) __________________________________________________________ 2001: I'm Down __________________________________________________________ 2002: Here Today Her Majesty Getting Better Mother Nature Son She's Leaving Home __________________________________________________________ 2003: Calico Skies Volare Helter Skelter Foxy Lady ___________________________________________________________ 2004: Flaming Pie She's A Woman You Won't See Me Follow Me Yellow Submarine In Spite Of All The Danger I'll Follow The Sun ___________________________________________________________ 2005: Great Day Too Many People Please Please Me I'll Get You Til There Was You __________________________________________________________ 2008: Fine Line In Liverpool Hippy Hippy Shake Mrs. Vandebilt A Day In The Life __________________________________________________________ 2009: Cosmically Conscious Sing The Changes Highway Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da With A Little Help From My Friends Day Tripper ___________________________________________________________ 2010: Ram On Letting Go: Maybe I'm Amazed: Nineteen Hundred And Eighty-Five Bluebird Venus & Mars/Rockshow [ ]( ) I'm Looking Through You One After 909 Hitch Hike Don't Let The Sun Catch You Crying ________________________________________________________ 2011: Junior's Farm Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End The Night Before The Word/All You Need Is Love Come and Get It Get Back (w/ Ron Wood) ___________________________________________________________ 2012: Hope Of Deliverance -

You and I saw Paul the same month in '93...and, yes, those songs were great!

I was there the first time Paul played Ram On in concert. I'd heard rumours about it being rehearsed and when he pulled out the Ukulele and mentioned that "we've had a request for a song we don't normally do." I couldn't believe it. It's one of my favourite Paul songs and for him to play it for the first time at my first concert was really special.

If You Wanna (1993 soundcheck):

If You Wanna (1993 soundcheck):
I had absolutely no idea this existed! Too bad the audio is so compromised.

I know! But you can DEFINATELY hear that it is If You Wanna! There's no "if you wanna love me..." section yet, but the main bulk of the song is there four years before the album came out!!

OK, Darth... ...Your next challenge: Go find a one-time, live drum+bass version of "She's Given Up Talking" that Paul and Youth performed at an underground rave in West Hollywood. Go!

You do know that if there was a live drum+bass version of "She's Given Up Talking" that Paul and Youth performed at an underground rave in West Hollywood, I'd have had it for years If it's got something to do with Driving Rain I'm all over it!
