What's wrong with having lower energy prices?

Nothing ..... I sure would like to see them lower In addition ..... the best way to sell a "Green Idea" ..... is to make the price lower than what is being used now. (Not 14 times higher). By the prices that I see some of you post ..... I realize how high the taxes are per gallon on the hills.
-
I'm all for lower prices - much lower than the present
-
who wouldn't be? EXCEPT that when the price of oil falls the stock market usually does too. Although yesterday it fell totally on the jobs report number. BIG dissappointment.
-
True, true - if we (America) drilled for more of our own oil, and not be so dependent on other nations - we could expect a price drop without the same in the financial sector.

yep, they are back to raising prices because there are refinery problems. Now it's in Cali. Last week it was Indiana.

We don't have a say in the matter as to have them updated or repaired ..... so when they break ..... we also don't have a say and get charged .... what ever way you look at it ..... we pay the price.
-
So Chevron burns up their own gas refinery, and WE have to pay the price. For EVERY brand. WTF?! Now that's messed up. And do you really think that BP is paying for all those fines and cleanup of that mess they caused in the Gulf of Mexico with their own profits? Hell no! You and I are paying for that travesty with higher gas prices. Just makes me want to scream!

I'm blaming the darn oil companies. This is out of control. I wish someone would start telling us what they actually intend to do rather than all the name calling in the presidential race. :
