Checked TM this morning and there were obstructed view seats in Section 126 showing up. I thought they were expensive for obstructed view.

Booked our flight and room! Just waiting on all the paper to arrive now
Where are you staying Wix?? When you coming in?
Should be there about 10:15 Sunday morning...staying at The Drury
I'm on Priceline.com ... lots of seemingly nice hotels very close to the arena.

It really is! We may be doing the limo watch...weather pending, so we definitely needed walking distance.

Just be careful Audi, when you go to the actual websites for downtown there are a lot of the hotels that are not showing any vacancies. I booked a room for Indianapolis Macca show four months ahead of time through Hotels.com The room was for $300.00 I called the night before to reassure myself that the room was in fact booked and the hotel told me yes we have your room Mr Campbell so when I and the 6 other people arrive the next day, no room they said well we always over book but this time we had no cancellations so they had me set up in a dump down the street that was about a fifty dollar room. Needless to say I was very upset, and nobody wanted to refund my money, the hotel said you have to talk to the booking agency and Hotels.com refused to because they said I stayed in the other room that night..It took me threatening them and about two weeks to get the difference refunded and I really had to get rude to get that done. Ever since then I never use a booking agency and have had no problems.

Duly noted.

And don't wait around either...our first choice was The Marriot, and that was already booked for the night.

I'm at the Union Station Marriott, and it's completely booked for that weekend, their web page says. I will check every so often making sure my room isn't given away because of their "over booking"
-
I'm at the Hyatt REgency at the ARch which is a 20 minute walk from the venue. I wanted to stay near union station but this was all i could find after I had my ticket and I wanted to be downtown. It'll be okay. I'm just a bit concerned walking back to the hotel on my own after the show. Hoping some other fans are staying there and we can head back there together. So I'm actually making this a long weekend holiday, flying in on Friday night. If anyone is around on Saturday and wants to meet up I would be game. I'm really excited about meeting other fans on this trip. I'm going to wander the city abit and do the arch probably on Sunday morning but I'm very flexible and a meetup or 2 with others is something I really want to do. Janet

Well, as we discussed I am more than happy to either walk with you or drive you depending on if I drive or not. But yes I am interested in meeting you and doing something on Sat. After noon, depending on everything else like when I arrive etc. I think I am going to arrive around one or two.
-
definitely Kelly. That will be fun. New city, new friends and Paul. I really don't know how I am going to make it through the next 6 weeks or whatever it is. It's all I can think about.

Im glad I booked my hotel when I did.

Has anyone gotten their tickets yet? I took part in the members pre-sale, but have not gotten my tickets, and I paid extra for the 3-Day delivery. They sure charged my card quick enough after ordering!

I got mine with the 2-day deliver last Friday (Sept. 14). I hope you get yours soon.

TM delivers quick. Crowdsurge takes time to deliver tickets. When I went to Montreal in 2010 I got my tickets through Crowdsurge and I got them two weeks before the concert date.

Thanks for the responses. I'll give it a little bit more time before contacting CrowdSurge

We will be staying at the Moonrise Hotel in the Delmar Loop...it's a really fun part of town that I've stayed in before so I highly recommend it if you're unfamiliar with the area. There's a metro station within a few blocks so we will be taking that to get to and from the concert. Cannot wait!!!

We're staying at the Four Seasons. Going for the big splurge and hoping McCartney and/or his entourage is staying there. There's always that sliver of a remote chance of running into them there. Don't know whether to walk it or cab it to the arena from hotel. Some of us from here are on his concert FaceBook page here: https://www.facebook.com/events/142532052556049/ Good chat there, too.

Paul amost always stays at The Four Seasons, from what I've heard from other fans, the band members just walk about the hotel no problem and seem to love to stop and chat to fans.

Our hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the venue. I can handle that. I booked direct with the hotel and will be arriving at check in time. I also have gold status with this chain so they better not have overbooked and give away my room. I'm guessing is that if a hotel is overbooked, the rooms that get canceled will be the ones who booked elsewhere, especially if you didn't pay full price for the room. I had only booked the night of the concert as soon as the concert was announced. When I went back to add the second night, price online was outrageous. I called the hotel and got a still expensive, but much cheaper room for Saturday. At least we are at the same hotel for both nights booked directly through the hotel. I'm driving and my friend is taking other transportation.
