Paul McCartney 2013 Rumours

So do you think there is any chance of a UK show this summer? It's just that if he's travelling to Warsaw and Vienna, wouldn't it be likely that he might do a few more European shows too, and maybe UK?

Dwellie:
I just spoke with an employee at Marshall Arts who told me there will be a concert in Italy. The person also told me that the rumoured concert in Karlstad, Sweden will not take place because his schedule is full at the time. The karlstad concert was rumoured for august.
That would make sense with that festival in SF. I had read Italy somewhere else on here. Hope there are more than just two euro concerts for you guys in June!

Good question!!!

Good question!!!
I think it's just a matter of experience.

I'm still hopin' and prayin' for a McCartney show in New Mexico!!!

Bob Gannon:
the tour stops themselves are very confusing. It doesn't follow any real pattern..a lot of zig zagging going on
If the list from Beatlefan is in the actual order, then there are probably big gaps in between dates. Those 4 North American dates he did last year were rather random, too. I still wonder if these are going to all be stadiums and no arenas...

I'm guessing, total guess here, Stadiums. 3/5 of my macca concerts have been outside, and they have all been between July 16th & August 1st...which is right in the range for these rumours.

With regards to Italy, I've heard some rumours about Venice... Possibly St Mark's Square?
-
All day I was waiting... Where is news??? Hrrrrrrrrr!!!

The Brazil press conference has been rescheduled for a third time, to tomorrow. :
-
If the BeatleFan list is in order, then I suspect San Francisco would be the first date, a handful of days after the May 9 show in Brazil.

I'm almost certain the San Francisco date is the Outlands Festival in August...don't think he'd play there twice so close together?

Yes, when I read about Venice I thought about St Mark's Square too. Paul played there with the Wings in 1976.

Indeed, but the press conference scheduled for tomorrow is the only one that was confirmed by the production. I mean, the first one, that was supposed to happen, was "confirmed" by a politician. The second one, that was expected for today, was based on a leaked email from Marshall to Planmusic, the national producer. Now, the press conference for tomorrow was confirmed by the producers on twitter and facebook. Let's wait.

Yes, but someone speculated the list was in order. I don't see how McCartney would do all those shows in the other order, though they may be spread out some.

Altho the Las Cruces rumour has that show happening in May - but in any case, I tend to agree with you that most of these shows will be stadiums.

If the list of rumours from BeatleFan is true and complete, I'd like to try and go to New York and Washington DC. But when I think of venues, I speculate Madison Square Garden and Verizon Center. Last time he's been in both cities, it's been outdoor stadium shows.
