2013 Rehearsals
-
My bet is for Blackbird, Here Today, and maybe Hey Jude.
-
Apparently the platform goes as high as 8 meters (27 feet) up in the air. Everyone will get a good view of the man.

Id say probably only 1 or 2 songs with the platform fully extended. It will be nice though if he uses the platform when it is at stage level. I could see him doing an acoustic song ther. Imagine Paul surrounded by 3 sides of fans singing Blackbird.
He did a similiar thing on his 1993 tour, had platform and did acoustic set with band on platform with him. I believe "Hope of Deliverance" was one of the songs.
It was used on LET ME ROLL IT and the end of HEY JUDE.

Yep. I remember him and Robbie on the cherry picker for Let Me Roll It. And then the full band joined him during Hey Jude, for the Na-na-nas over the crowd.

Here is a screen capture of the interview that will be broadcast tomorrow. It was recorded in Los Angeles. It came from this video: http://globotv.globo.com/tv-anhanguera-go/ja-2a-edicao/v/fantastico-deste-domingo-traz-uma-entrevista-com-paul-mccartney/2542475/
That was recorded at rehearsals. I can understand MJ Kim being annoyed at people using his pictures on their own sites without his permission, because that isn't allowed. Linking to his own site though? He's the one that put them up there and it's completely his own fault for not having them protected better!
Does anyone know what was being rehearsed? And I agree about MJKIm...he should have known better. He knows what fans are like.

Pretty sure Hope of Deliverance was being rehearsed with the pic of Abe on bass. Also with the pyro pics id say live and let die. The picture of Paul with the scrren in the foreground that said Titanium led some of us to believe Magneto and Titanium man. Other rumors but not supported by any pictures are Silly Love Songs, Listen to What the Man Said, Letting go, Venus and Mars Rockshow, and With a Little Luck.

He's already on a stage to provide a great view of everyone. The last we need is him to be 27 feet above us if we paid for the best seats. Does it really do anything if you're in the nosebleeds? The tour should be called "Up There".

I'm sitting in the grandstands under the overhang at Fenway, if they raise him too high up I won't even be able to see him lol
-
According to a new report, Paul and his piano will be raised on the new platform.

Paul cannot keep anything secret from his Brazilian fans!

I would LOVE to hear Magneto and Titanium Man live! This might turn out to be a completely different how from the first time I saw him! Excellent!
-
I like this raised platform scenario, gives people far away a better chance too see him up close. It all looks very promising, bring on Vienna in June

Rusty Anderson speaking with Chris Carter (Breakfast with the Beatles in L.A.) this morning says we will not be disappointed with the new setlist!! He indicated there will be a few new things this time around... That's good enough for me!

Not sure...you may want to try googling "Chris Carter's Breakfast with the Beatles - Los Angeles". Or try KLOS...they may have a link to "BWTB".

I already called it "Up There" several posts ago. He won't be any closer to the people at the back of the arena, just higher up, and depending on the angle and how high up he goes, he might still be hard to see, esp. if he's sitting at the piano. Even people midfloor or in the mezzanine seats nearest the stage might have trouble seeing him. It will bring him high up and closest to the balcony people esp the ones by the stage (and those are nice seats anyway). His piano was on a raised platform during the '89/90 tour, but that was situated on the stage so farther back from the front rows, and people at the front could still see him.
