Is he ignoring the UK

BOYCIE:
Well i've seen Paul play 4 times in the UK over the last three years so i would hardly say he ignores us, but admittedly all 4 have been in London, i do think the rest of the UK gets short shrift though. If i was Australian then i'd be pissed off, now there's a place he should be playing. I do think in general that people in the UK like men and women to look and act there age, hair dye and wearing clothes that are to young for you is seen as rather demeaning. Paul of course isn't an old 70 year old by any stretch, but i think it's a fine line, no pun intended, between looking old and frumpy and looking like you're clinging to your youth with too much desperation.
Paul play Australia ???.....not much chance I'm sorry to say. Not after the fiasco of his "postponed" Melbourne concert some 10 years ago.

Let's get him back in the UK charts

Hmm, having been a Brit fan for the past 12 years or something I've never gotten around to seeing Macca live. I'd probably prefer to be in Mexico City or Montevideo than Sheffield or some such turd hole in Yorkshire as well .
Ever been South of the border down Mexico way?
No but I've been to Leeds and that's a horrible city.

Leeds is a lovely modern city.

Pretty low swipe there Susy. I don't think Paul is ignoring the UK, just having a breather. After all, we all said he was over exposed here last year after the Olympics. Currently the money and demand for Paul is in the US/South America as is the adoration. So that's where Paul will go. He still has a very loyal fan base here, who will welcome him back when the time is right..

I disagree. Paul, never play in Leeds. Infact, ignore Yorkshire altogether.

Paul has (with Wings) played in Leeds, twice in fact. On the 16th February 1972 he played the town hall and on the 19th May 1973 he played the university. What more do you want?

Why would you say this? Yorkshire is beautiful! Absolutely gorgeous place! Where in the UK are you from?

I think the point most people are saying is that he announces a new tour, with a new stage and new songs and doesnt announce any shows in his own country, if he doesnt play the UK on this tour, I for one will be gutted to not see the new songs and stage set. He did this when he did the Chaos Tour in USA, we never got it so i never got to hear those tracks live and always been disapointed with that

In truth i want a new album. sod the now disability i have been wanting one for years. if i could have gone to the toilet at RAH during my valentine i would have.

This is how I feel. The last few times he's done this he's ended up playing gigs just before Christmas in London. I've been to a couple of those and they were just amazing. He did receive a lot of negative comment in the press in this country after those performances last year. That really disappointed me as those comments were generally made by people who hadn't seen him perform a concert set and had an awful lot of prejudices against him! Why, I don't know. He must be incredibly thick skinned by now and surely he'd be over that by now.
