I know he did it for WOA in 1976 but don't know if he did it for earlier Wings tours

If he said it in 1972, it would have been 17 years for me too...1989 was the next time I saw him.

Agreed. I saw him on the WOA Tour in Philadelphia, May 1976 and he said it right after "Soily." Not as much emphasis as he places today, but there nonetheless!
