Paul McCartney says he's planning to tour Europe in 2014

Lets do hope so, very itching to see the man again. I do hope we get a spat of UK dates before the end of the year, although unlikely you never know. But I think most UK fans will be more happier to see him announce a full UK tour next year and in good time (Instead of the susal 2-3 months beforhand). Either way I will be happy, as long as I get good tickets!

If it comes to pass , great news, I thought Hampden in 2010 might have been it .... I do hope he considers his Australian fans though ....

This article just made my night, because after reading this I couldnt get asleep at all.. So I came here to make sure myself that it was not in my dream (after I slept about two hours) and I really read it... wohoo I wish the more information will come out soon till the end of the year so we can consider some options and make some plans.. Anybody knows something new about it???? There is only word about UK and Germany but the topic of the article looks more "european" not "just" those two countries. FOr myself I reallly wish there will be more chances - countries to choose to go, but.. if not - I GO TO GERMANY and hope you guys to see you there.. 2:

I was surprised he said Europe and Germany. Isn't Germany in Europe????

in contect to the interview (a german TV station) this statement is absolutly comprehensible.

What I'd like to do this time around, if I can, is attend multiple UK dates in different cities rather than just the usual London dates. But I really require the audiences to be more enthusiastic than they was at the 02. 3 macca concerts with an audience like that would be a bit deflating. Anyway, won't stop me. Doooooooo!

Great news be good for a few uk dates

It seems a UK tour will happen. Congratulations to those fans!

He does, he considers us to be unnecessary...

I agree Chris the O2 crowd were pretty pathetic in 2011. I was at the four shows you have attended and Hyde Park and especially the Hammersmith Apollo the crowd were much more into it. I was in Verona and the crowd were good, but still not as enthusiastic as you think Italians would be. I think too many people go to Paul gigs to see a Beatle, if he had his hardcore audience at his shows only they'd be much more electricity in the crowd.

Not me James, I was there in 2011, singing and dancing my heart out. Coughing badly too! Got home and it turned out I had pneumonia!! Row behind me kept spilling beer down on the floor though!!

I have a feeling the European tour will be either in March/April or in June.

Indeed Boycie! I think the 02 is a bit soulless for a Macca Concert, I was sitting down for the RAH gig to but the crowd were more into it and the setting was fantastic! There were pockets of people really enjoying the 02 show but sadly, no one around me was really going for it. bah! Glad to hear Lisalou and good on you, and tbh, I don't think I mind a bit of spilt beer if it meant people enjoying themselves!

The only way he would get to Australia if the pilot took a detour south Does anyone know the pilot crew?

Thats hard to take . I used to get cheesed off when he played England ,and not Scotland, but he redeemed himself at Hampden in 2010.

Maybe I'll finally get to England if he tours. It's been a bucket list item since I was 12! I'm now 61...May throw caution to the wind this time!
-
I'm planning my first-ever trip to England next summer. It'll be too lucky if I time my trip the same time Paul plays there, but t'would be a fine thing.
-
I might be ready to party next summer. Hope he goes all over Europe like he went all over the US. What fun!

I've got a few questions about Paul's recent (2009-2013) tours in Europe, I'll appreciate any info. Was it always easy to buy tickets online, or did you folks experience difficulties, like in the recent US and Japan tours? Did those concerts usually sell out fast, or was it possible to buy tickets closer to the concert dates? Was it possible to pick tickets up at the box office or did they have to be sent by mail? Were online tickets sold to anywhere in the world, or were they restricted to European citizens? Thanks.
