reminds me - the programmer for the Obama Care website resigned (true news). Jay Leno said, "He will continue to receive his full salary since they determined his incompetence was a pre- existing condition."

Seems a waste of bandwidth to keep repeating the same long quotes post after post, which happens too often. It doesn't feel like such a waste to me to read long original posts on topics I find absorbing, such as Paul's new album "New"--thoughts and opinions. Reactions. But then, I'm a reader, love to read, and I love to write. When somebody takes the time to really throw down with a lengthy interesting post, I always appreciate it, even when I disagree with something they wrote. Long pieces are meaty and juicy. I daresay the powers that be, here, appreciate it too. If people stopped contributing the entire place would "freeze" and become a cyber ghost town, which is always sad to discover. I remember when that happened to my MSN "freebie" personal site The Pink Palace--everybody seemed to flee or drop out all at once. Which was odd. I'd tried to make the Palace funny, meaningful, entertaining. Yet I still had fun going in there just by myself, it was my house, my palace on the Net, and a museum of pictures and writings which mean a great deal to me. And my personal playground...it felt peaceful and quiet there, even when "abandoned." Plus I knew invisible peepers were out there lurkin' and lookin' (LOL) even though they didn't bother to write anything. Sorry, I'm rambling, but it was fun to ramble even if not fun for anyone else--and as I said, I feel the powers that be here always appreciate the effort. From everyone and anyone. (Except, I suppose, if a big fight breaks out, LOL) I value the chance for self-expression on somebody like Paul Mc.'s official website message boards. So everything's peachy (LOL)
