What places are REALLY overdue for a visit from Sir Paul? I know Australia is (20 years since last time) but there's got to be places that haven't seen him since Wings days.

I can think of minor places that Paul hasn't played in a long time, but a major city that I think of off the top of my head is San Diego (last played there in June of '76).

Well, that is a while. Though he has played Los Angeles, hasn't he? And, while it's still a couple of hours away, it's probably driving distance as opposed to trying to get interstate.

I'm sorry that you're feeling a little down and under the weather!

Ha! Subtle I was trying to not play the Australia card too much since I think we've been clamouring for it since this board began Is there any country that he's NEVER been to, not even with Wings or the Beatles?
-
^ yes TRINIDAD even John and Ringo visited here in the 60s, although not to perform http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=85920

Paul McCartney needs to perform in Australia. And in: Albuquerque Tucson San Diego Fresno Birmingham, AL Jascksonville Louisville Paul needs to go out and play for the people! Performing in New York or LA won't get people in New Mexico or Idaho to biu his CD.

Brian Ray just said on FB that the Japanese tour was it for 2013. So, I suspect we have to wait a month or two to see if and when 2014 dates will take place.

Given there's only what 5 weeks or so to xmas it wasn't a stretch to work it out that Japan wrapped it up for the live stuff in 2013 though its nice to have some sort of confirmation i suppose.

Well, I'm not the one who kept hoping and hoping for some UK shows this year. So it isn't about how much of a stretch it is or anything. It would be perfectly within McCartney's recent past to announce a few small end of year shows at this time. Especially since, the last time I checked, he recently released a NEW cd!

Last Christmas: Nothing for UK. Out There Euro Dates: Nothing for UK. This Christmas: Nothing for UK. I'm therefore not pinning any hope on anything anymore. What's the point? It only leads to disappointment. This "UK in 2014" thing is just some passing thing Paul mentioned... it doesn't mean it's definite and I will certainly not be assuming it is. It's not like Paul comes from the UK or anything. It's not like he has a brand new album out or anything.

He was just there! He did a bunch of stuff for you guys! He was all over your tellies. HELLO?
-
He didn't do his normal Christmas show though.
