It was amazing, not a sold out, but incredible nonetheless. I had row 6, but it ended up being row 5 because some rows did not sell well and the show producer decided to rearrange the whole area. This caused problems at some areas of the concert: http://www.nacion.com/ocio/musica/Espectadores-Paul-McCartney-sufren-graderia_0_1411858947.html The organizers even sacrificed several seating area for more space to the people standing. Front row was incredibly close to stage. I swear that people on the 7th row were at the same distance as people on first row at other Paul stadium concerts. His voice seemed a little better than what I saw from the other Latin American shows. Overall an amazing concert, the tickets were incredibly expensive and in the end it was a 65 - 70% attendance. Costa Ricans are not used to pay more that 150 usd for concert tickets, and OCESA is known to be incredibly expensive. They had several promotions and give aways, so many of the people who went to expensive areas of the show (closer to stage) seemed a little bored from time to time, they remained seated 70% of the time and didn't know songs like Lovely Rita and 1985. I enjoyed the concert to the max and hope to see him again. Paul will be staying a few days here in Costa Rica for vacation. Lucky guy.

Just watched the Utube clip and I thought Paul sounded great on "Save Us". I sure hope he and "Band does more "NEW" songs when he hits the US. Please Paul add some more NEW songs to your setlist. Any of the ones below would be great. You are not only a great artist from the past but one today as well. On My Way to Work Alligator I Can Bet Turned Out Early Days Appreciate

Happy 2 hear you all had such a great concert experience. I am sure Sir Paul will enjoy the beauty of Costa Rica. It is such a friendly country. As a visitor to the country I loved it. Quepos is a lovely area and well, just about any place there. He is a lucky man.

Perhaps he's overcooked his South American goose.

Well Costa Rica is in Central America, not south. The place was full with people from other central american countries, so I don't think that applies in this case.

Yes I'm aware of that but as far as I'm concerned its part of his South American tour leg. My point still stands. His heavy focus on the Central/South American market in the last five years may have finally reached fan burnt out. His Montevideo show wasn't exactly a sell out either, to the point where ticket prices were slashed in the days before the show to try and bolster sales.

Well the reason he keeps coming back to latin america is because of something, and he's been coming back quite a lot. They were expecting 35,000 people at the Costa Rican concert and had an attendance of 30,000. Considering how small Costa Rica is, I actually think it was a really good attendance. If the ticket sales were poor, he would have cancelled the concerts, just like it happened in Australia more than 10 years ago. That is probably why he never went back to Australia. I assured you that he comes back to Latin America is because of the people and the successfulness of his concerts. The same with Asia and North America. I can't wait for a Mexican concert to be announced!
