I got married last year and we had a quartet play here there and everywhere for the mothers entrance and all you need is love upon leaving. Our first dance was My Valentine and for mine and my mums dance we had my love. My wife chose Canon in D for the processional but Calico Skies would be nice

For the My Love dance, was it as an instrumental or with singing? Good selections!

It was sung, a jersey band called Le blanc bros. They were so good. I met Paul in NYC last month and told him! Probably gets that all the time though..

Wow! You actually had the presence of mind to recall that and form sentences to speak to Paul? I'd be a blithering idiot and just probably hug him and burst into tears!

The first time I met him I was exactly that, I could not string two words together, looked a complete idiot and he just looked at me like I was weird as he held the door for nancy. After my whole family made fun of me for weeks, I had to say something the next time and managed to get it out. As I walked away he shouted give my best to your wife. I was unable to text my wife for an hour given my hand shaking!

Hi everyone! I am trying to figure out what song I want to walk down the aisle to at my wedding and was wondering if anyone here has suggestions. We have a solo guitar player who will be playing at our ceremony, so it has to be something he can learn on guitar. My top choice right now is Celebration from Standing Stone....we'd have other more recognizable songs for the rest of the ceremony, but I have always loved Celebration so much, especially as a melody on it's own, like when Paul plays it on the piano. My question is....do you think that would be too difficult or a bad choice for a solo guitar player? I never heard the melody on guitar, so I have no idea. I just wanted to get some of your thoughts because I know a lot of you are musicians....thank you!!
Our first dance was "My Love"

Welcome back Rockerdude! Where ya been?

"She's So Beautiful" would be a good walk down song.

Devil In Her Heart

Devil In Her Heart
Not really so bad since the last line says "Though she's an angel sent to me."

Yes warm and beautiful is a good song for this occasion. Any how I was looking for bouquet toss songs to be played on my cousin?s wedding and that?s how I landed here!

I have not seen the sheet music for this song but just by listening to the clip (soundcheck) somebody posted of this song, I think a professional musician should be able to learn to play this fairly easy. BTW - most Beatle music is fairly simple to learn to play.
