KingMacca:
Just heard from a friend about Mohegan Sun in CT... That would be awesome!!
Well, is my friend telling the truth or full of shit? Haha
-

No chance he's doing US-Europe-US for just 3 gigs over here like last year...?
That would be great news.
-
looks to be a US kind of summer. We'll find out for sure soon...middle of April I hear will likely be the annoucements for shows past May. Looking on with great interest! As far as Europe/UK....I really think you will have something going on Nov/Dec like the past...I have nothing to back that up just good old fashioned gut feeling
-
So it will be like last year (US and Canada from June to August), minus the 3 concerts in Europe that will not happen this summer. My friend in New Mexico will be thrilled to hear the news. Is Albuquerque in the Midwest?
-
Lambeau Field in Green Bay is purporting to have a large concert announcement coming in April. Sounds like it may be a perfect McCartney stop.
-
I think he will rest in September/October, do a few shows in early/mid November somewhere (Brazil and Mexico, perhaps) and then a tour of Europe and the UK from late november to late december.

Not quite. It is West but not Mid.

AAAARRRRGGGHH! As long as I'm back from overseas! Really, my money for Lambeau would be U2 as they will no doubt be touring to promote their new release and they have done football stadiums in WI previously (Camp Randall in Madison). Hope I'm wrong! So when are those Osaka presale tickets going on sale??? Seoul???

Thanks for the info. But still, I suppose it should not be a long and expensive journey from Albuquerque to big cities in the Midwest and the West Coast itself?

I agree, my money would be on U2 for Lambeau

U2 isn't releasing until next year. Plus Bono said it would be indoors. I'm starting to get excited about this Mohegan Sun rumour. Hope it comes through.

I would highly doubt that Paul would play an arena that only holds 9,000 people. And if he did, then you could forget about getting good seats as they all are given out to the high rollers. I'm from CT and would rather fly to another location than to see him in one of the casinos. Rentschler Field would be a better option; it holds 40,000. There was talk a few years ago about this option, but it never materialized.

That depends on one's budget for time and money, I guess.

think you're right..Mohegan Sun doesn't sound feasible to me at all
