June/July - USA
Hopefully, there are no overlapping dates with Ringo. His tour covers all of June and part July
DCShark, from what I can see, at least 8 overlapping shows during that time but none in the same state on the same day
Based on this and the clues Bob has given out. This is pure speculation on my part. Tour dates July 1st to August 14th. Lawrence- I can only think of Kansas. So maybe Kansas City Ella- this one is a stretch, maybe LA Black and gold ?I can only think of Pittsburgh. Anyway, I know you said there are no Canadian dates, but Paul usually throws in a Canadian show in either Toronto or Montreal. If he plays the East coast. Plus they are arena shows.
Don't say Pittsburgh based on speculation! That gets this Pittsburgh heart racing!!! But my oh my how I would love for him to return here! I do prefer indoor.. So Consol Energy Center would be excellent. But he was just here in 2010 when he opened the arena...and we do have Heinz Field and PNC Park...

So it will be like last year (US and Canada from June to August), minus the 3 concerts in Europe that will not happen this summer. My friend in New Mexico will be thrilled to hear the news. Is Albuquerque in the Midwest?
Albuquerque, New Mexico is between the states of Arizona and Texas in the Southwestern USA. By air, Phoenix and Denver are about 1 hour; Las Vegas and Dallas about 1.5 hours. I suspect McCartney will play at least one of those cities, and your friend should be able to get non stop air to any one of them.

Budokan and Cadlestick Park during the same tour.... is it 1966 again? What's next, the Philippines?
Bob Gannon:
the old grey mare ain't what she used to be
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Beatles%27_1966_US_tour http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Old_Gray_Mare The horse in that song was called "Lady Suffolk", and The Beatles did a concert at the Suffolk Downs Racetrack in Boston, during their 1966 tour of the US. If I understood your clue correctly, Paul will perform in Boston next summer.

Whoops, sorry...not a clue...some last minute presto magic caught me off guard. Now I have things to think about again just when I thought I was set :

Lambeau Field in Green Bay is purporting to have a large concert announcement coming in April. Sounds like it may be a perfect McCartney stop.
AAAARRRRGGGHH! As long as I'm back from overseas! Really, my money for Lambeau would be U2 as they will no doubt be touring to promote their new release and they have done football stadiums in WI previously (Camp Randall in Madison). Hope I'm wrong! So when are those Osaka presale tickets going on sale??? Seoul???
I agree, my money would be on U2 for Lambeau
Whatever it is probably would not be until renovation work is completed in July. http://www.packers.com/news-and-events/article-1/Lambeau-Field-Atrium-renovation-work-continues/46ee8efe-8f5c-43d2-a95c-2ad1b158678f

I'd really personally like to see Paul make a stop again near Illinois, Ohio , North Carolina, Kentucky, Indiana, or Tennessee. I've only sadly seen Paul once mainly because I blew two opportunities in 2010 & 2011. Would like to get to redeem myself but hey it is what it is.

I'll go out on a limb and say you'll get your chance this year!!

So Bob....go out on that limb again ....what are the chances of Michigan or Ohio ??? I want Michigan !

So now what's the status on the UK or Europe? Maybe later this year? I thought I was keeping track of the other predicted legs of the tour but the rumour of a summer US tour will somehow affect when other dates are announced or set?

too big to be standing out on limbs....Make a practice of not doing that!! As far as UK/Europe...seem to be off the map right now for the near future. It wouldn't surprise me if he did some holiday shows in Nov and Dec like he had done in the past but at this point..anything can happen

Just heard from a friend about Mohegan Sun in CT... That would be awesome!!
I would highly doubt that Paul would play an arena that only holds 9,000 people. And if he did, then you could forget about getting good seats as they all are given out to the high rollers. I'm from CT and would rather fly to another location than to see him in one of the casinos. Rentschler Field would be a better option; it holds 40,000. There was talk a few years ago about this option, but it never materialized.
Actually for concerts Mohegan Sun holds 12,000. He has done other arenas of this size sewhere in the country. And the casino can easily afford his guarantees. A lot of a list acts have played there so i would not count this one out.

Ok,no limbs Bob But what about the Midwest? Like Michigan or Ohio ?

As for Ohio...It's been a long time since Cleveland.. April and October of 2002 to be exact. That's when and where I first saw him way back when I was 16! lol Hoping for Cleveland ... or of course, preferably Pittsburgh

well, we're both wrong. According to the website, it holds 10,000. http://mohegansun.com/poi/venues/mohegan-sun-arena.html I still don't think Paul will do it. This is a guy that sells out 60,000 seat stadiums in 3 night stints. Granted, Springsteen's slated to play 2 nights in May, but he usually books arenas and not stadiums. What would Paul want with silly little Connecticut, anyway? The last time he played here was '93 and it's been said there were issues and he would never return.

Springsteen is doing two shows at Mohegan Sun this year, and he doesn't normally play casinos. And like Paul, he also has a high guarantee. So yeah, possible. But agree that tix for this one would be very tough.

I guess I'm happy that UK/Europe is not soon as that means more time to save up for when the time comes. But, whoever does get a chance to attend these upcoming shows, please do share all your concert experiences and show some photos

The last time paul played connecticut was 2002 in hartford i think at the now named XL centet Why not Mohegan Sun? Good a place as any. Draws from CT RI and MASS and even NYC. He had played at smaller arenas elsewhere. Guess we will just wait and see if the rumors pan out.
