Should be easy on eBay. Gold you can sell but front row and souncheck are non transferable. They check id's for ticket buyer at sound check. You can still see the show but the sound check they would lose

Didn't get the sound check. I will probably keep them anyway. Thanks

MaccaReport says that a show in Chicago at the United Center is rumored for July 9th.
Now I'm excited. He hasn't done the U.C. since '05. I really wish he'd return to Soldier Field. Concerts there are awesome, and he closed the '89/'90 World Tour there. But this works too!
I saw him there in '05. It was great. I hope he gets rid of that extra stage of his.
The only decent hotel nearby (and not very) is already booked up July 8-10.
I just checked available hotels in Chicago for July 8th and 9th. There was only 0ne hotel less that 1.5 miles away. Most available hotels were 2 miles and more from the United Center. How is traveling from the United Center after a concert?
Just be careful where you go.
Thanks! I hope Mr. McCartney gives me a reason to look into it further!
You're from New York. You have no reason to worry. The hotels around the UC aren't good, but plenty of very nice hotels in the city. Taxi is the way to go. The CTA doesn't stop very close to the United Center. Pedicabs are there too, but I want to run those people over in my SUV. They are terrible. You don't need to worry about the neighborhood. But these people from 'Elvis Country' do!
That's what I thought. When I'm with my friends after a few drinks traveling back to the hotel cab, train etc. not a problem. When I'm with my wife it makes life a lot easier if the hotel is in walking distance. What's your opinion of the Chicago Marriott at Medical District/UIC 625 south Ashland Ave at Harrison Street (that's how it's listed on the confirmation) It's suppose to be .6 miles from the UC?

Getting to the show will be fine, going home will be, well, ok. As long as you stay on Madison and Ashland, you'll be fine. If you cut through, there are a lot of vacant lots and alleyways. The main problem is going to be Rush University Medical Center is directly across the street, so you might have to deal with ambulances during the night. You're also a few short blocks away from Little Italy, which is awesome! One of my favorite restaurants, Tufanos, is just 2 blocks away.

Thanks for the information! I'll have to check out Little Italy, nothing better than Italian food. Now all we need is a concert and tickets!

and keep your smart phones put away, and tell your wife not to wear any blingy jewelry for the walk back.

It's that neighborhood, not all of Chicago. Parts of the area surrounding the venue are a bit dodgy. Although I know someone who did have his cell phone stolen while walking and talking with it in a better neighborhood. Best to be careful.

I wonder if there will be another Boston (or New England) show this go?

Now that we've had some U.S. Tour dates announced , are there any other credible rumors for any other U.S. cities besides the Chicago rumor?

Cities that have been RUMORED include San Francisco and Lubbock. Also, Minneapolis, I think.

NYC may get a show, but Albany is just up the road. Then it's off to Pittsburgh. Having said that, McCartney's tour routing has been pretty weird in the last few years.
