New Orleans/Louisville/Albany/Pittsburgh - Pre-sale Thread
-
I was aiming for Pitt but ended up at Albany. Knowing how fast tickets go, I bought 2 for that show. My next stop was Travelocity to buy plane tickets to Albany instead of Pitt...thankfully I hadn't booked before securing ( or not ) tickets. Thanks to crowdsurges mistake, I am now going to visit a new town vs go to one I seen countless times

This is disgraceful. You would think with all of the practice they've had they would finally get it right. Very disconcerting when you go to the artists website and they treat you this way. This presale is not what a fan presale should be.

Pretty frustrated. I was by my computer since 9 AM making sure I was prompt in getting pre-sale tickets for Pittsburgh, and got sent to the Albany show and couldn't recover in time. Really don't feel I was given a fair chance to get tix...hopefully the general sale treats me well on Monday!
If you lost out because of the mix-up with the links please contact Crowd Surge. They may be able to help you: support@crowdsurge.com
I and another person both got 'redirected' to another venue after selecting Albany. Makes you wonder if they did it to let the scalpers get in there first. They don't care about the venue as much as we do. They know they can sell the tickets for any venue. At first I couldn't believe I selected the wrong button (knowing that I did not). Now that I am hearing the same thing happened to others makes it seem like it was done on purpose by someone working for the scalpers. Seconds mean everything in ticket buying. This took minutes off my chances. Sad.

Hoping Crowdsurge will help me out, but who knows. Probably wishful thinking, eh?!

Unfortunately, I got a reply from crowdsurge saying they can't do anything to help me. "Unfortunately, CrowdSurge made a listing error, which was corrected shortly after the sale began. We are sorry you could not book, the show sold out quickly and we are unable to make more tickets available. But the general sale goes live in a couple of days. We are unsure of the dates and times as we are not doing it. Let us know if you need further assistance."

did anyone have issues buying the pre sale tickets? I clicked pre sale for Louisville and was able to purchase 3 seats in section 5. I was ecstatic! Then I tried again a few minutes later to see if there were anymore available to then realize the links are mixed up! The tickets I bought for "Louisville" are actually the Pittsburgh show. I'm extremely upset! That kind of an error is unacceptable! How did the links all get mixed??
Similar thing happend to me, I wasted a ton of time looking for seats in what I thought was Pittsburgh and it turned out to be Albany. By the time I realized and got to the Pittsburgh page, there weren't any tix in my price range.

SHAME ON YOU, PAUL. How many more times will this happen until you realize your fans are being ripped off?? I'll try on Monday. Shit on you, Crowdsurge
-
I'm sorry to hear so many people here got screwed by CrowdSurge. Maybe Paul's team should consider hiring another company to handle the pre-sales from now on?
-
Keep telling them you need further assistance then. That is an unacceptable response. They need to give you comparable seats in the correct venue. Don't let them get away with it. There are thousands of seats left. Tell them to buy some off the brokers they allowed into the presale.

As horrible as the people working this website and ticket sales are, this really has nothing to do with Paul and more to do with his management. He does his job and he does it well. Unfortunately he can't seem to find the proper people to take care of the simple things like selling tickets. And I doubt that he is even aware of how awful it actually is.

For all those complaining about Albany tickets...go to ticketmaster.com (instead of using this site) as there are still VIP packages available including good ones!

Exactly! Last I read crowd surge sent Paul's site the wrong links. Blame crowd surge for their stupidity not Paul!

Man, I didn;t know what the heck was going, I finally figured it out that by trying Pitt, I got to get Albany and by the time I got thru, Albany was sold out?.i was so pissed I lost my mind and bought Gold VIP?I have a meeting when the tics go on sale publicly?..last time I used the Pre-sale it worked smoothly. I should send Crowd Surge an invoice for the extra cost, great seats though?. I been to many shows in Albany, its been 10 years though since my last there, great arena for a show in my opinion?.

At least you got a response back from crowdsurge. I'm still waiting to see if they will do anything about the mixed up tickets I ended up buying.

Can't afford a VIP package.

I was on right at 10am for Albany and when I clicked on the pre-sale link it brought me to the page but it wasn't in English but I could tell it was for the NOLA show. By the time I refereshed and went back in, tickets were sold out Guess I'll have to try my luck on Monday.

Have you folks tried asking CrowdSurge to cancel the transaction and to give you a full refund?

I could be more specific I suppose. I had said in my complaint what had happened about the ticket mix up and what I was supposed to do with 3 tickets I cant use. They responded back saying theyre sorry about the mix up and are still trying to find a solution. They said they will be in contact again but it may be a while due to a "high amount of inquiries." At this point im tempted to sell the tickets and use the difference to go towards possibly buying the hot sound package. Im unsure to do that thougb because ive heard the soundcheck isnt like what most think it would be for the money.
