Does that mean row 1?? Congrats Oobu!!
Not row 1...Sect 3 Row 3. How many seats across are in each section?
-
If you're facing the stage, the seat numbers ran from right to left (so #1 is on the far right). Don't know if it's the same for all concerts though.

about how many across? Thanks.

found this information helpful on ticpick (United Center) Floor Seats for Concerts - Unless you are sitting in the first 10 rows of section 1, 2 or 3, I would strongly suggest you look for tickets in the sections right off the floor. Like most venues, the floor sections are not elevated and often your view gets blocked by the person in front of you. 100 Sections - The best sections besides the first 10 rows on the floor are section 111 to 113, 121 to 122 or 101. These sections are optimized for sound, view and location and of the 19 rows in theses sections, typically the lower you are the better the view. Seat Numbers - Seat 1 is on the aisle closer to the adjacent section with a lower number, for example seat 1 in section 113 is on the aisle next to section 112.

I think I saw that yesterday. Should be helpful to many here.

Not sure because at Paul's shows, they will fill in the aisles between each section for the first 5 or 6 rows, so some extra seats will be added.

Just saw a pic of Paul on the Wrigley Field anniversary show on WGN, right between Ryne Sandberg and Kerry Wood.

The Wrigley show just showed that in 1914 a house cost $3500.00! Now you spend almost that in one day on soundcheck packages for Paul McCartney! LOL.

And there's no financing available.

Thank God we make more than the annual pay in 1914 which was like $577.00 a YEAR!

I am SO disappointed....I registered weeks ago, I REregistered the other day twice, and still NO code I think I will have a nice big cry now..

Oh sorry - the website presale doesn't use codes anymore, so there is no need to wait for those e-mails (which frankly was never ever reliable as far as I am concerned). Maybe the mods should make this clearer?
-
For those of you that have done the soundcheck package before - can you briefly describe how you liked it/what it was like/ is it worth the extra money? I've sat close before so I'm not looking for that but considering buying a single ticket so I can do the soundcheck (if there is a 2nd show added for Chi Town). Opinions, please

Soundchecks are great...it's another concert. Everyone is more relaxed. You hear different songs. BUT you are 40 rows back (approx).
-
Just saw an awesome Macca "Out There" Chicago commercial during the Cubs game broadcast. This all just got a whole lot more real!
-
thanks oobu - not sure I want to shell out $1500 to sit that far back. Thought it might be more personal. I appreciate your info. As of yet I have tickets but no date - my oldest will be at pre-college that weekend (she was supposed to be my date) and hubby doesn't want to see him again (loser). So I was considering selling the tix I bought this morning and getting a VIP for myself alone. At the Milwaukee show, I sat next to a man that was there alone and we had more tun together than I had with my husband! I would have no problems going solo because I know I would be surrounded by real fans )

Don't let that (40 rows back) deter you. I'm sure others here will sing the praises too. It is wonderful & I am doing it again this year. But being so far back is my only complaint. You of course get a closer seat for the actual show. Maybe look around on youtube & you can find some soundcheck clips.
