I like the look feel, touch, smell, hold etc..... of many books ... that being said .... someone had just gotten a "Kindle" and they let me use it for a short time. I thought I would be against it .... or not accept it in any way .... sure there are differences (in general I miss having the book) .... but at the same time .... I liked the screen ... even on a sunny day or at dusk - I could still read it easily. It has some nice features. If I ever used one while traveling or visiting ... I could be carrying many books all in this one easy to carry reader type of thing ..... the biggest surprise to me was that I didn't think that I would like it at all and it seemed okay. That being said .... I am not going to go out and buy one ..... but the idea and the way they are made is nice ..... I read some classics (because they were free) .... it was nice to read and re-read some of these (that I read way back in school) and not be tested on them. I have got to get back into some more reading again .... I have gotten away from it .... due to my work schedule etc .... but I need to keep a continuity going ..... as I go through this thread .... I am trying to get a few ideas of what I would want to read next ...

When They Were Boys by Larry Kane. He quotes Yoko as saying that John eventually took her to meet Mimi & George! Hello, Larry! George died in 1955! Then when he talks about the day John & Paul met, he says Paul did "Long Tall Sally" as his "audition" with no mention of "Twenty Flight Rock." There are a few good tidbits of info so far, since Larry did travel with them during their American tours. One bit was when one of their plane's engines caught on fire and Larry stopped John from opening the emergency exit door!! George was the calm one and told him "Remember Larry, it's Beatles and children first!"
