MY tickets arrived!!!!!!!!!!!! A2 Row 16 here I come! I still don't know if I will be towards the center or on the far right of the section. Hopefully I will be pleasantly surprised. I agree, it sure would have been nice if CrowdSurge would have included some information with the tix...parking??? What's allowed/not allowed, etc. Planning on getting to the stadium around 4 as to try to beat the traffic jam that will happen. I have no clue as to where Paul will arrive.

A4, Row 24 for us And same here, not sure if we are towards end of stage or towards center, we have seats 7 and 8. We hope to get there around 4pm as well, but will be taking public transportation, we are too scared to drive and be stuck trying to get out afterwards. I have to work early the next day and don't want to get stuck in the city until all hours that night.

I have 2 extra tickets for sale: Lower Box 16, Row J, for what I paid, $591. PM me if interested. Thanks!

MUNI has posted some info for public transportation to/from the concert. I still think it will be over-packed getting out (thinking about Outside Lands last year) but here's the link: http://www.sfmta.com/calendar/alerts/paul-mccartney-concert-candlestick-muni-service

Thanks for posting that! Very helpful. I was looking at the muni map for locations of the stations, and the 3rd & Gilman stop is at the intersection of Paul Ave. How funny.

yes, thank you for posting the MUNI info. I"m a little confused though....if staying downtown, should we board the LRV shuttle at Embarcadero?

Thank you kitty! The LRV shuttle sounds like a good way to go for us for getting to BART so we don't miss that last train (since Paul usually goes late! )

Jim, where downtown? If you are staying near Union Square, I would perhaps get on the bus that takes you to Balboa BART then get off at Powell Street. If you get off at Embarcadero, you will have a long hike back to Union Square area late at night.

hi our hotel is near Mission and Embarcadero....is the shuttle best for there? It's funny, I've been to SFO so many times, but always get confused over MUNI and BART. Thanks so much

Ok, in that case if you are staying near Embarcadero I would take that LRV shuttle. That's the one we will possibly take as well, depending on what time the concert ends and what time we get on the shuttle, etc. Can't miss that last BART train out of the city!

thanks again. last question (promise)....does LRV take us all the way to Candlestick, or do we have to change to a bus, etc?

I assume it would, but I'm not 100% sure about that.

I looked on Ticketmaster and they say the same thing about what can and can not be brought into Candlestick, about the small clutch, no purses, back packs allowed, etc. I'm still going to try and call this week to find out for sure. If I can't bring a purse in (it's not even that big!) and have to carry what I need in a gallon sized plastic bag, including my camera I will not be a happy camper about that.

I think that info is outdated because it refers to 49'er games. I doubt they will be that strict @ the concert.

I'm trying to sell 2 Gold Package tickets for Candlestick - 11 rows from the stage! Section A4 - Row 11, center of section. $650 each.
-
I think taking the shuttles from the park into the city will be OK as they will probably continue to run until most fans have been moved, even if it takes awhile. However, if going to the east bay, I would worry about getting to the BART station before the last train leaves so would have a plan B just in case. I agree the restrictions on bringing purses/small backpacks into the stadium was an NFL thing. Should be OK taking them into the concert. And LOL I noticed the same thing 3rd & Paul

Yes we thankfully have friends going as well so if we get trapped they said they will be a backup for us. Yeah I'm thinking that is old NFL rules but still want to make sure. I'd hate to show up with a purse only to be told I can't bring it in.

Does anybody know how many seats their are per row on main floor? Just curious.
