What are you reading now?

Almost finished Tune In: The Beatles All These Years Vol. I. Been reading a few to several pages almost every night before bed since getting it in October. Kinda sad on finishing it now, knowing it will probably be a couple years until Volume II. A great read though!

A photographic book about John Lennon

A photographic book about John Lennon
Your post reminded me that I have a TV Guide from Nov. 1981 with John on the cover. "One year later...TV and The John Lennon Tragedy" Was looking at all the car and cigarette and alcohol ads when at the back I found a very interesting Winston cigarette ad that read... "WINSTON Nobody Does It Better" I Had To Laugh...Very Cool!
-
I probably have that TV Guide too. I have subscribed to it for forever and I'm sure I would have kept that issue.
-
Just started The Velvet Angel by Jude Devereaux & almost finished reading Sand Castle Bay by Sheryl Woods.
-
The Rite of Luna - The Rites of Eleusis - AC (the original writings not the later opera thing.)
-
Tune In Vol. 1 by Mark Lewisohn
-
Waiting To Be Heard by Amanda Knox
-
The Wedding by Danielle Steel
-
Fine Cooking - Cakes and Cupcakes Some unusual goodies, can't wait to find my mixer!
-
How To Win Chess Games Quickly by Fred Reinfeld. I bought this in 1993 from my high school teacher who loves chess and started a chess club that same year.

I'm still reading it, too, the same way. I'm about 3/4 way through, now. I'm also reading several other books along with, as always, hehe. Got The Walrus and The Elephants: John Lennon's Years of Revolution at the library yesterday. Read the introduction. Looks good, too. Also got some just released history books and read several chapters in those.

I've been on a bit of a roll - read about 16 books by Andrea Camilleri over the past couple of months.
-
The Fab One Hundred And Four The Evolution of The Beatles from The Quarrymen to The Fab Four 1956-1962 by David Bedford
-
I finished "Night" by Elie Wiesel. What a stirring novel. Will be seeing him in conversation on May 22nd. What have you been reading?
-
Still plodding my way thru Vol. 1 of The Beatles - All These Years, Tune In by Mark Lewisohn. Up to Chapter 18 - great book.

"Plodding?" I flew through it and couldn't put it down! Now we have to wait forever for Volume 2! Right now I'm reading the Billboard mag with the Beatles on the cover.

You mean the unabridged or abridged. The British had a choice between the two and we didn't. (well, a friend of mine got his unabridged online through amazon uk and paid about $132 for it--80 GBP)
