Gotta' give the South Americans credit...they are singing along with Paul en masse on "Save Us" -- and it's great!

Maybe that is why he plays South America all the time and Europe never!

If Paul were to ever do a mostly solo-songs tour, I'd want it to be in South America. They seem to be the best audience for that -- they know the songs and they are enthusiastic about the man that wrote 'em.

Haha, don't wanna stir up that discussion again, but wow... That 'extra stage' gap is pretty big, and an unnecessary distraction.
-
I'll bless a full-scale South America tour if that's what it takes for Macca to blow the dust off his neglected solo albums. You have to admit -- they know his solo stuff waaaay better than the rest of the globe. "javilu" posted a vid of friends having a singalong to "Man We Was Lonely." Hell, not even I really know that one.

Wonder if he "freaks" out getting that type of reaction to a solo song !!
-
LOL, and the fact that over 100,000 chaps paid a ticket to see the concerts in Sao Paulo probably helps.
-
Well, the most amazing news is Wix's confirmation that the band WITH PAUL have actually run through and rehearsed Silly Love Songs recently - that is incredible!!! To know that he's actually sung it and relearned and played his iconic bass part in a rehearsal setting recently is mind blowing! Surprised the board is not talking more about that. Wonder if anyone in the band will suggest to Paul that he really (really) should dust off the Rickenbacker bass for that one : :

I knew a lot of people (myself included) wanted Silly Love Songs on the setlist, which is why I asked Wix about it. Hopefully it will be performed during the next tour.

I guess he will mention it in interviews and will make it sound like he can't wrap his head around it again...
-
He'll get a massive reception for the sing. Hence it will be embedded.in the setlist for ever. Then he will say "the song goes down really well live we've found." And all of US will say "Oh duh...no tish Sherlock!" :

Just watched the entire Quebec '08 show. Outstanding setlist. It covers all the bases, and there were definitely some unexpected songs. Plus, the usual suspects weren't exhausted then.
-
It's official: Paul is cool (regarding the recording of his concerts): (skip to 35:21):
-
He didn't say anything about filming tho.
