Wild Life - A New Perspective

Wasn't Paul on the toilet when he sang Wildlife?
Or was that when he wrote Bowel Movement in A Minor?

If he plays the entire Tug of War album in concert, I'll gladly fly to the United States.
And I'd buy your plane ticket. That would be a dream to see that album performed live.
Can you throw in free drinks? It's a long flight.

interesting article worth a read on this under-appreciated classic:
The Advanced Genius Theory author Jason Hartley explains why the first Wings album makes glorious sense now that indie rock?s lo-fi, psych-folk leanings have caught up to where McCartney was in 1971. Imagine, for a moment, that as a teenager you and your best friend started what would become the most famous band ever a few years later.

Always appreciated "Wild Life". I can sing along to it while the record plays. In the 80s, there weren't many records like it being made, but in the 90s, with the emergence of low fi Indie bands, it sort of found its genre.

Sorry but never could get into wild life. Wings weakest hands down.

That's very true but for me it has a lot of charm and I certainly enjoy Wild Life more than say Back To The Egg or London Town, even though they were better albums.

I think "London Town" is my favorite Wings albums, and what I see as the peak of the Denny Laine & Paul McCartney collaboration. There is something about it that flows very well to my ears. "Wild life" is kind of a low budget, no glamour kind of thing, which I also enjoy in music, I don't think everything have to be a polished commercial release. It's a bit like the McCartney albums, only recorded with friends in the garage instead of alone in the living room.
