LJ lives and gigs in LA. By all accounts a lovely fella. Steve, likewise lives stateside and again, a lovely fella.
I met Laurence Juber at BeatleFest in LA about 1989. He's a great guy, very nice.

Best line up really for Wings Specially Juber, such a bad luck that Paul did not play with this line up again in studio.
LJ is the best guitarist I've ever had the pleasure to hear (and meet)
You met him? Tell more.... I also always liked Steve Holley. I remember as a kid he did a couple of quiz shows in Australia. He came across as a very amiable fellow. Lots of fun.
Met him several times--first time on a cruise for Beatles fans in 2012 and later at AROTR in Louisville. Oh and last year he was with us at our Cancun Beatles trip. I told his wife "I hope you don't mind me telling you this, but I just love your husband!" She laughed and said that was fine (she is so lucky--he's a hot older guy) Also met Steve Holley as well last year at AROTR. Both guys are so nice!

Thanks for sharing these! Such a nostalgic thread for me - was at Kampuchea, as I may have previously mentioned ;), and also was in London during the summer of '79 and got to see a special promo screening of the Back to The Egg film shown at a theatre (in Lewisham maybe?#badmemory ops. We were asked to cheer and clap for the videos; they recorded us and some of that got dubbed into the final versions of the film. And I have also met Laurence Juber; yes he is a great guy and a wonderful guitarist; I recommend to everyone - definitely go to see him if he is ever performing in your area!

Are you sure that your not getting muddled with the Rock Show film?

Paul McCartney briefly mentioned the idea of re-forming Wings in The Love You Make DVD. But it's quickly dismissed.

Very sure. It was at the Rainbow in Finsbury Park (not Lewisham) and it was in August 1979. http://www.rainbowhistory.x10.mx/1979.htm 10th August Wings film ?Back to the Egg? The last film to be show using in house carbon arc projectors http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rainbow_Theatre#Music_venue:_1970s-80s Occasional films were screened, including Jimi Plays Berkley in January 1972, the World Premiere of the Leonard Cohen film Bird on a Wire on 5 July 1974, and Paul McCartney's Wings, which was the last film to be screened at the Rainbow Theatre, on 10 August 1979.
