I need your prayers
-
I am asking for my friends here to pray for my wife, Nancy, who begins chemotherapy today and is gravely ill. She has been my loving friend and companion at countless Macca shows and I can't imagine going on without her. Love to all--Dave.
-
(((((Dave))))), my friend, I am so very sorry to learn of Nancy's condition. You have my prayers and those of my family. I am here for you if you need me, on board and off. If there is anything at all that I may do for you at any time, please do not hesitate to ask. Again, I am so very sorry to learn of this devastating news. Stay strong my friend! Sending you and Nancy lots of LOVE and huge hugs - our prayers are with you! Anita and family

From one Nancy to another--peace, love and prayers for a recovery.
-
My sincere prayers and hopeful positive believing is sent your way as well. Steve

Thanks Anita, Steve and Nancy. Nancy, I know you have been through a similar struggle and I value any words of advice you can provide (plus we are birthmonthmates, if that's a word). My Nancy just told me treatment has been delayed another day but I am leaving for the hospital soon to watch the Packers game with her and later visit with a social worker.

Dave, thinking of you and Nancy and sending my very best wishes.

Thank you. My hubby went through chemo 20 years ago...Hodgkins. Someone told him to have chocolate malts...it seems to make you feel better. Maybe for the nausea?

The only nutrition she is getting is from the Orgain shakes I bring her. They are much healthier than the ones the hospital carries which are loaded with corn syrup. She did start the chemo yesterday and was given an antinausea drug first, so I hope that helps. She is being treated with the protocol for lung cancer so I guess they think that is where it started.

So sorry. Those drugs can wipe you out. You both are still in my prayers.
