I think you both are right. George has an attitude coming into the whole project & Paul is the director. Yes, it is Raunchy but he wants it doubled up to a faster beat. They probably had the entire thing planned out.

What's pretty clear is that you're completely wrong, and I'm totally right.

What is "Raunchy" ? Never heard of it.
Raunchy is an old instrumental song, the song have been play by a young George Harrison to convince John Lennon to get him in his band. The song was played by George while they were on a bus! Here a video of Paul and George playing the song during the Beatles reunion for the Anthology documentary:
Wow, Paul doesn't really let George take the spotlight, he makes vocal sounds throughout the song, which is a song that features the guitar. You can really see old relationship dynamics come to the fore and it really presses the point that George would never have participated in a real Beatles reunion. I get the feeling he even was bothered by it in these videos. I don't think Paul can help himself. George was always going to be his "little brother."
Sometimes you guys read waaaaay too much into stuff. Paul is not being rude -- not even in the slightest. He's just jamming and adding to a riff that's, otherwise, pretty monotonous. It results in Ringo picking up on Paul's cue and changing the shuffle to a double-time beat, then Ringo half-timing the grooving to a quintessential Ringo-style drum-beat. And -- to me -- George appears to appreciate it.

No Hope for the Future? Glad I heard it! Any soundcheck songs?
Hope for the Future was played. It was played after Another Day.
Thanks for the correction. Any video of the "Silly Love Songs" snippet??
That is correct: Hope for the Future came after Another Day. And Birthday was the second encore. But I miss Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-five in the list. It came after My Valentine. I did not detect Silly Love Songs. The show took some time to steam up, but was great. We had a wonderful evening singing and rocking along. The audience was a bit meek.

Nice photo with the flags. Norwegians are very proud of their flag, but Paul does this at the end of all his shows in each country with the respective flag. doesn't he?
-
This was a wonderful show! Good to hear Got To Get You Into My Life?one of my favorites, and one that he omitted when I saw him a few weeks ago in the U.S. I am the girl he had up from Philadelphia during the encore and I'm still reeling from it. It's a long shot, but I was wondering if anyone here has any photos of that part of the show. Photographic evidence might help me escape this state of disbelief. Again, amazing show...and his Norwegian was certainly better than mine (which isn't saying much). Hope everyone had a fun time!

Hi, In an effort to lessen confusion, I have removed my post linking to Rick's photos in Paul's Philadelphia concert thread. Hope you receive a reply! Once again, congratulations!

You lucky girl from Philadelphia! Congratulations! Where about were you in Oslo? I suppose on one of the floor seats, standing up with your sign? We also had a sign, but were in section D, leftside of Paul. He did notice it, I'm sure: after Maybe I'm amazed he looked our way and stopped a moment to read it. Anyone catched that moment??

Haha, don't I know it! I can't remember my seat number or section but I was in the front row, on the left side (I guess that makes it Paul's right). I think he does see a lot of the signs while he's singing?yours included! Haven't tracked down a picture yet but I'm sure there's one floating around somewhere. Would be awesome to see...just to confirm it wasn't all in my head
