Ok, what if post doesnt come in time or tickets get lost. .. There is no advice where i should contact in case like this. Also I got name of the hotel but not any details, check in time ect... A few days ago I sent a message with that question to the company selling the VIP packages. They said your ticket can be sent to your hotel, if you give them the address.
-
They charged me an extra 50 dollars for delivery to the US. I assumed that meant they're being overnighted.
-
It's something I also worried about. I contacted Event Travel basically saying I'd be in Europe by the time the ticket was sent and if there was a way to get it sent earlier. Got a response a day later (over the weekend mind you). From what I've heard they're pretty accommodating. Hope this helps! And you might want to contact them yourself. "Good Afternoon, Thank you for your email. Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee early shipping as often the tickets are not received into our office until about two weeks before the show and they then need to be allocated before we can send them out to you. However, we often send ticket packs to our clients who travel before the show (sometimes people follow the whole tour!) As long as we are aware that you are travelling we will be able to arrange to have your tickets delivered to your hotel or wherever you may be staying. The best thing to do would be to let us know once you have made your booking that you will be travelling from the date you leave your address in the US. We can then put a note in your booking so that we can contact you before shipping to find out the best address to send the tickets to. If you do have a proper itinerary of where you are staying then you can send this over and when the tickets are ready to send we will make sure they go to the right place - you will then be emailed to tell you when they have been despatched and to where."

When you buy a VIP package in South America, you get the ticket and the merchandise at the venue on the day of the concert. I wonder why they insist on sending the ticket in advance for the EU/UK concerts? By the way, what is the procedure at the US and Japan tours?
-
I did electronic tickets last year. The info about the sound check was emailed close to the show.

in the US, merchandise is distributed at the shows. tickets can be mailed or e-tickets, depending on the venue and ticketing company. i did do one soundcheck a few years ago that did make you pick up the tickets on the day of the show, but that was the exception. you still have to show your ID and have your name checked off on the list when you arrive for soundcheck, even if you already have your ticket.

Erika I wouldn't worry they usually give out your tickets when signing into pre- sound check...

Harley, it might be a different company than the one you used in Japan or wherever you went last time? Event Travel have stated that they are going to send/mail out the tickets. There is nothing anywhere on the website about tickets being handed out at soundcheck.

Only one of my US soundchecks had me pick up tickets at check-in. for the others in the US, I have always had my tickets beforehand. Which I prefer anyway.

When is the deadline for paying for these packages please? I'm hoping there might be one or two people who change their mind that I might get lucky & snap up one..I thought you had to pay the full amount up front so didn't bother even looking...

I wish Event Travel would offer an Upgrade Package for those who have got a ticket already. That option was offered last year in South America and it worked very well.

I received mine yesterday for the show at the O2.
