Revisiting Junior's Farm would have been a bigger surprise.

To be fair they didn't mention a "surprise" did they? His twitter account said "Something special from rehearsals for first trip to Marseille? stay tuned #OutThere " with a picture that was a still from the video later released. The "something special from rehearsals" was clearly the "Ou Est Marseille" song rather than something special for the show.

Would have liked to be at that soundcheck...will have to do that some day!

This. The "special" thing was a reference as a teaser to the video.

At least now we know he will sing Michelle in Paris.

No reviews? Here's my quick one then, it was my 6th since 1989 before the 7th (and last?) on Thursday. Had a fantastic time in the middle of PELOR in spite of the chain smokers... Michelle was fun but the real surprise of the setlist is Temporary Secretary of course, what a ballsy choice! Took me back to Xmas 81 and my first new Macca LP, well cassette, that I played to death on my tiny mono player, hehe... One song he needs to drop in a hurry is Amazed, few people seemed to know it (unlike say BOR) and it took his already croaky voice several songs to recover. I know it's for Linder but there are so many to pick from, My Love maybe, or he could also dedicate Live and Let Die to her since she wrote the middle 8. Unlike say Jagger who "paces" his voice, it almost seems like Paul wants to leave everything on the table at each show, kudos to him for that, but he's not 37 anymore...How is that going to work with back to back dates like the Ziggodome? A bit sad/odd he only managed to sell 38000 out of the 57000 capacity, especially when ACDC can sell out two Stade de France in minutes. Comes down to marketing I suppose... PS - not sure if there was some kind of "issue" but playing a useless 30 minute collage at 21.05, 1+ hour after showtime, really tested the audience's patience! It was a whistling fest... Surely Paul must have heard them and will get the whiz who slapped that together to edit it down to say 10 minutes or even better, 5!

I think Paul's prices don't help either, top price £139.00 at the O2 London, AC/DC Wembley Stadium, London, top price £79.95. If couples want to go it get's very expensive indeed. Also Paul seems to be on the road all the time, time makes the heart grow fonder, acts coming back after a few years away will generally sell better.

Hi, sorry, was the Tour Program in french? or English?
-
Few people knew Maybe I'm Amazed? What kind of crowd is that?
-
Well let's say it didn't get a huge reaction, certainly not to the extent where he should keep destroying his voice on it! @mike carrera - good question, I was just wondering about the program, realizing I didn't see one, will take a better look on Thursday. @BOYCIE - not sure it's a pricing issue, in Marseille, the PELOR was a very reasonable ?74 for instance. But yes it doesn't like his team has managed to make him "rare"/"hip" enough, odd since there aren't that many Beatles around, eh! BTW there is a very good recording avalaible on Dimeadozen!
