Any news or rumours about new album?

Part of me wonders if maybe he's created another Fireman-like pseudonym and has already put out a new album, but we just haven't discovered it yet.
Klaatu?

(listen to what Macca said back in '86 -- skip ahead to around 30:41):

Eight songs have supposedly been recorded for the new album, although these might be reference tracks (full demos) to be re-recorded at a later date. Either way, the album is supposed to be in its early stages so I suspect it won't be released until autumn 2016 at the earliest.
Aren't these eight songs meant for the High in the Clouds-project?

Is that what the Gaga songs are for? I'm losing track! So many projects going on!
-
I was wondering about the Gaga project myself...

Yeah, that's what I was thinking! (Gaga I mean) Yes, also too many projects to keep up with!

Could well be, the numbers certainly add up. http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/paul-mccartney-pens-seven-or-eight-new-songs-for-animated-film-20150520

Looking forward to that one! Thanks for that update

You clearly have not heard him live. His voice is so thin and flimsy it's almost not there. The beautiful sound you hear on his records is studio trickery.
What trickery is he using in these concerts?
The first clip sure looks and sounds lip-synched to me. In the others, if you can't tell the difference between this and his studio-enhanced voice, I can't help you. But back to the point, I think Paul will record for a while longer, letting the age in his voice show when appropriate and disguising it when he feels he needs to. But barring something unforeseen, there's no reason he shouldn't keep recording for a while, even if he can't always pull it out of the hat live.
I think Paul's currently sounds better/ stronger than any time in the last 5 years. i wonder in fact if he has had some form of treatment for it. Paul still has the voice to record and perform. The studio enhancement argument is largely irrelevant , as being a musician myself , its hard to find people who do not "enhance " their performance in some way. Were he not to do it , It would be like Paul was in a 100m sprint where he was the only runner not taking steroids !

I predict Summer of 2016 we'll get a new album or project by Paul. I tend towards that time frame mainly because I think he is currently working on the album/project as we speak. I would assume he'd finish by the Fall and ramp up the promotion of it in the beginning of the year.

Think Kanye will be a part of it? :

A full duets album with Paul and Kanye would be something. They could call it F*** N*** S***.
-
Paul should have some female song partners on his next album. All of his collaborations in his solo career have been with men. I would love to see a collaboration with Kate Bush or Lana Del Rey, for example. Bring some darkness to the proceedings.

I'd be happy enough if it was better than their other collaborations.... and at least was worthy of anything "differential".... rather than underwhelming dross.

Duets albums often lack the camaraderie that they should have -- mainly because so many of the individuals' vocal tracks are recorded miles and miles away from each other. I remember Tony Bennett saying "Take it, Frank!" on the Sinatra duets album, which was obviously forced...not to mention, an insult to my intelligence.

Crosby/Astaire. Crosby/Hope. Crosby/Sinatra. Crosby/Satchmo. Now THERE'S how magical duets happen...but I digress.
-
Too many duets are just a marketing thing. Like a country singer who want to reach a pop audience and stuff like that. It always shows. Duets must come from the heart, not the sneaky brain.
