Seeing Paul in Concert

Is Tampa about the size of Albuquerque, New Mex., if so, why won't he play there? in New Mexico. He's played in Tampa at least two times, I think.
A lot of things come into play for any artist to come to any given town but the top reasons are, is there enough interest for people to buy tix and can the promoter put up the guarantee money. Next is, is there a suitable venue for the logistics of the show? This would seem to be the main hurdles. We don't know if the promoters in NM have explored the possibility of having Paul play there since Las Cruces. We don't know if Paul's people have explored it either.
Venue could be a factor. But not one I am totally convinced about. We do not have a nice modern arena like Paul is playing in these days. However, we have a university football stadium that is bigger than the one he played in Missoula, so I do not understand him not playing there. The Rolling Stones did in 1997. And we do know Paul's people were talking to NMSU's people in Las Cruces in 2013, and that it looked like a show was booked that Memorial Day weekend, then was derailed and Paul played Memphis that day instead. It's all good! I just scratch my head and say, "The Rolling Stones, The Who, Billy Joel, David Bowie, Elton John, and many others have been able to pull of performing in Albuquerque. What is it about Paul that makes this impossible?"

I'm not disagreeing with any of the facts stated. I'm disagreeing with the never-ending of bashing of those newer to the game or less privileged. We don't all know each other here. Leave the girl the facts and move on. The mods would probably end up merging this thread anyway.
There could be many reasons a person might not be able to go to a concert. The only tour of Paul's I missed that I could have gone was the 1989-90 World Tour, and that was simply because I could not afford it. He wasn't coming anywhere near where I lived and I was not in a position at the time to be able to travel, let alone buy a ticket. Sure, there are ways, but it takes a lot of planning, and at least some money.

Yeah, that's why I missed the 2005 tour. I had 2 kids in college then!

Same here. I missed the '05 tour because I was a freshman in college and I didn't have the means to go and travel to see one of the shows.

Same here, he played the Alamodome in the 1990s and I was a broke college student could not go! ops: the next night I worked some promo job at a Selena concert in the Alamodome agh!! I only got to see the recycling bins Paul and Linda donated to the arena! Took over 20 years for me to finally see him at home but he more than made up for it Have fun everybody Out There!
