If you could make home anywhere, where would you live?

If you could make home anywhere, where would you live? Near water? Mountains? City? Farm? Island? Boat? Tropical? Cold? Let your imagination and spirit fly .... *Hopefully the place you choose is breathable

I'd love to go first of all someplace with lower property taxes. So that when I retire & have my house paid off I don't have to be paying $1000.00 month to live there. Next up in order of importance is weather. Somewhere wher the weather is perfect! haha haven't quite figured that one out yet. The mountains in Arizona? Maybe...

AZ is very beautiful -I know why Linda loved it so much. But too dry for my sinuses.

If I could afford it I'd moved to a warmer country by the sea. Preferably a place with a relaxed legislation. If something like that exist anymore. I'm hippie, not a Nazi. 2:

I had a dream years ago... I dreamed I lived in a house that was somewhere warm, it had the kind of full wall of windows that fold, all back into the wall and in the dream I left it open to the patio. It was just all open to outdoors... You walked out to a patio with a infinity pool. I remember that it was high up, with a beautiful view of the ocean... There was a sauna downstairs. It was one of those dreams that felt so real, that I think I will someday discover this house in my travels in Europe or maybe the Mediterranean.. Italy!? It was really open concept, it had a central garden with a fountain and running water...so you could hear running water and hear birds. You could walk down from up above, down to the water.... There were flowers and gardens all over. It's funny you said fly, I was having flying dreams around that time of the dream. I didn't remember a boat in the dream, but I'm going to imagine a boat, because nothing is quite as peaceful as being in a boat on the water!! Time from a boat is an altered state of being! If I ever find this house, I'll retire and move there!

I grew up in all of the above, except tropical. I still like nice, cold winters. I miss having seasons. But I wouldn't mind spending a few years in Mauritius.

I was in Normandy a few months ago and I saw a house near the beach that I could easily see myself spending my last days in. A very long time from now.

Somewhere offering a cool spring, a quick temperate summer, chilly autumn, and a long cold winter. A place with lots and lots of lovely snow! Home requirements which include wood burning fireplaces and a generator. A land where snow-laden trees are plentiful and commonplace. Preferably not too far from Niagara Falls. A place where I can walk in the snow and hear only the snow tapping on my outerwear. A simple, quiet slice of heaven...

Let it snow.

Maybe the South of France, but I'm greedy and can think of several places

A music studio so I could learn many instruments

If I was rich I'd live in St. John's Wood in London. I love London!

There are so many nice places in the world, but being near water, near enough to view it... is the best!

I love London too! London is a good hub city for Europe, for me, I would like a small city home in Kensington and a nice country home, maybe Suffolk... Or Italy, France, Holland etc ..sooooo many nice places it would have to be near an airport and museums....

I've only been to England, Wales, Scotland, Canada and Mexico (oh, plus stops in The Bahamas, Jamaica, Haiti, St. Martin/St. Maarten, and St. Thomas on cruises)

I'd choose Holland. The funny thing is, I only went there as a side trip from Rome. Italy was the place I wanted to go for years. That was the main trip as far as I was concerned. Holland was an afterthought. Now I'd pick Holland over Italy any day. Life has a funny way of working out. Is that a song?
