If you are an average incomed or lower working American, you are a million more times better off supporting a Democrat than a Republican. Republicans believe that we live in a wide open economy in which every one can be rich, and if they're not, they are just lazy. The economy is a closed curve pie. You don't make excess amounts of money unless someone is being under paid for their work or someone is being over charged for a product. Did you know that Trump pays himself $250 million dollars a year? That is the equivalent of 5,000 average American working people's incomes. He may even be paying himself more than that now. He could be paying himself a "mere" 1,000,000 a year and could create 4,980 average income jobs out of the surplus which comes out of everyone else's pockets.
While you view things that way .... Another view may show that Donald Trump has approximately 22,000 employees bringing in 9.3 Billion dollars reported last year. It is estimated that another 10,000 people or more who are not employed by his company may benefit by having things like restaurants, stores and services that work indirectly with his company. All of them spend the money that they make into the economy. He spreads his money around. He is quite the entertainer and has made this election cycle just a bit more interesting and on edge compared to how boring it would be without him in it. He is a loose cannon and I would cringe to think of him as President - but at least he got people to sit up and notice what some of the issues are on peoples minds out in the real world beyond the political narrow vision scan of a good guess if they were lucky to have an on the ball support staff. He lit a fire under a few of the bums who thought they were entitled to the job without putting forth any effort. I don't think a majority of people ever thought Donald Trump would make it this far. So far my bummer part is that the Democrats gave me the finger - saying it is Hilary Clinton (a Saul Alinsky and George Soros follower and Socialist) and Bernie Sanders (a self pronounced Socialist leaning strong toward Communism) .... and another guy in it for looks ..... so it will come off as Hilary Clinton had to work hard for it .... when she feels like she shouldn't have to put in the effort and is entitled to the job. It is funny to see Bernie Sanders taking off and doing better than the party ever expected. Hilary Clinton in my opinion has done too many unethical, questionable practices in her dealing with the U.S.A. as a Government person and as a someone who is suppose to represent the people. I am ticked off that the Establishment - and rich elite have given such bad and horrible choices and make the calls of who will win. It almost seems fixed already. Nobody on the other side - The Republicans have got me interested. The establishment wants to pick their candidates for this side too. (Without letting the people decide). This is why I am glad to see Donald Trump messing up their plans for now. The only thing that I ask from that side for now is to have Jeb Bush drop out. I do not want to see Jeb Bush or Hilary Clinton get to the office of President of the U.S. The sad thing is one of these candidates from the Democrat side and the Republican side can accidently win and become President of the U.S.A and that is scary.

"Bernie Sanders (a self pronounced Socialist leaning strong toward Communism)" ~ The_Fool The most foolish thing about this statement I guess, and you're not alone in your beliefs, is that we in America are living in the very worst form of communism possible "right" now! It's called Oligarchic Capitalist Communism where 1% of the people have 99% of the money and 99% of the people are expected to equally share (communism) the other 1% of the money. Unfortunately, there are people in the 1% incomed who are striving to join in with the economic elite and driving more and more people in our country further and further into the stress of poverty, which is burdening our police forces, our humanitarian resources and creating 99% of all of our problems. Which brings me to Sarah Palin implying that President Obama is somehow responsible for her personal problems. I have an ex-marine friend who just stopped by and I told him what she had said and he replied,"That's Crazy!" Soldiers have been coming home from war with various problems since the beginning of time. Alcohol overuse is one of the major ones! It has absolutely nothing to do with who our President is. It is a matter of personal responsibility and she has obviously not been very responsible toward her own. My Marine friend and I had to laugh when I told him that she will probably be flying around in her helicopter now shooting stray dogs and cats for her stress relief. Very sad actually...Where do these people get these delusional ideas anyway? And, now Trump claims that he's making a stand for Jesus. Get flippin' serious!!! If he were to read that dust covered New Testament that's been sitting on his mantle for ages, he would immediately call the Pope and schedule himself an EXORCISM!...

I hate to defend Sarah Palin, but it is not HER responsibility to take care of her son's PTSD. It should be the duty of the U.S. Government to be responsible for the mental and physical health of our brave military men and women when they come home. The U.S. Government is pathetic on the record for their "care" of its military men and women. PTSD is not a thing to laugh about and you and your marine friend should know that. I have complex PTSD and it is a life debilitating condition. I have known many veterans from many wars and they live with it everyday. I don't think it is funny at all. And I have even known one that shot his own dogs he became so dysfuctional. Many who have it victimize others because they never received proper treatment to readjust to society. Making jokes about PTSD is not appropriate. I never laugh about it.

We weren't laughing about anyone's problems. We were laughing about people who blame everyone else for their problems without attempting to do anything at all for themselves. My friend also has PTSD, but he doesn't sit around and whine about it, and blame everyone else...for it.

^^ As long as your friend, and other veterans, are getting proper treatment for PTSD, which should be free and comprehensive by the U.S. government, and is not harming others that is great. Any ex military or current military who have PTSD should get help and not take out their aggressions on others. I have CPTSD from an ex military person who never got help. Then he employed other ex military to repeatedly follow me around the country and revictimize me. When ex military cannot readjust to society they take jobs from psychopathic opportunists with money who exploit their condition. Then they suffer even more dire consequences. I have seen it for 28 years now. They come and go. No one comes out a winner. Never see one yet. So the moral to the story is if my ex fiancée had gotten proper psychological help hundreds, maybe even thousands of people would not have had their lives destroyed. It is a domino effect. The U.S. government is responsible for what they create and let out in society.

Are there any honest conservatives willing to explain to me what the actual deal is with Sarah Palin? I mean, is it just that she's a Republican and anything a Republican says is good no matter how incoherent it may be, or are you secretly embarrassed by her and unwilling to show weakness by admitting it?

Australia has had no mass shootings since tightening its gun control laws 20 years ago.
The mainland states tightened gun control even earlier. Tasmania was the weak link. Guess where the last mass shooting was that prompted national gun laws? So aside from that, it's closer to 30 years.

Kittay, I honestly don't think SurSteven and his friend were laughing at the PTSD issues of our vets, I believe they were talking about Sarah Palin's absurdness in only blaming President Obama for what her son did to his girlfriend.

I understand what you mean. Steve was saying they laughed and thinks Sarah Palin "wasn't taking care of her own." I was simply saying that the families of U S veterans should not be negatively affected in their personal lives by being the primary persons responsible for the caregiving of veterans when they come home. The U.S. Government should have much better Veterans Hospitals and long term care. Not just discharge them with psychological or physical injuries for the families, if they have a family, to have to be burdened with financial and emotionally and physically. If the military wants to start wars or finish wars they need to take 100% care of all veterans. That is all I was pointing out. There are too many injured vets who can't joke about this situation as they are dead or incapacitated.

I thought of Saturday Night Live skit from a long time ago ..... http://www.nbc.com/saturday-night-live/video/cold-opening---john-kerry/n11792 The way John Kerry tries to brush him away .... Now insert Donald Trump getting a call from Sarah Palin to endorse him .... but instead he accepted her endorsement ..... It would have made for a good updated skit

I LOVE Tina Fey's impression of Sarah Palin! She was even better than Sarah, and I would vote for Tina!

(After being beaten) I wonder what Sarah's Son's Girlfriend thinks about them being let off the hook for not needing to be responsible in their lives?
