According to Fernando Moya, the man in charge of Time For Fun, Paul will play in Argentina possibly in a year or two: http://www.lanacion.com.ar/1862547-fernando-moya-con-el-fin-del-cepo-el-negocio-se-va-a-agilizar-y-vendran-mas-artistas This is a very recent (and long) interview in which he explains in detail the problems the country had been facing to bring international artists, and how things are getting better now.
Yep. Prices will increase in pesos but it will be easier to pay artists and demand will exist anyway. people will rob a bank if needed to buy tickets here lol

The new tour should last at least a couple of years, so I guess that means Brazil in April/May 2016 and Argentina in November 2017.

I think that is incorrect. I would bet Paul will come to Argentina on the same leg of the tour as Brazil, no matter when that happens.

Again, if Billy Joel can do it, why can't Paul? People need time to make plans.
Has Billy Joel ever played Albuquerque?
Billy Joel performed in Albuquerque at Tingley Coliseum in 1979.

Let me rephrase it, then: Brazil this year Brazil & Argentina next year

Maybe Mr Prat Gay can make it work for Argentina.

Wow, we have an Australian who knows our Economy minister! Or did you google, Mr. Moptops? Carlos, that's more like it. There is no Argentina without Brazil on Macca's tour. And... I have a ticket to see the Stones on february 7, YAWZAA

No. Like General Belgrano, it's just general knowledge.

I saw this article he other day, and I thought, "No duh he's going to tour in 2016!" The question now is: where?

Pinkpop, as I've heard is almost confirmed. So there will be summer tour in Europe

Did the initial, vague and unsourced rumour just snowball now? It's highly plausible though: the name they wanted (Pearl Jam) fell through, and it's the last huge name to play the oldest and longest running festival in the world. For a long time they didn't want to pay such insane prices for acts like McCartney, but now Springsteen played it plenty of times - which even recommended Pinkpop to McCartney, according to the festival organisation... - and even The Stones, that problem is out of the way. In 2013 he almost did it, but Bonnaroo had a more lucrative deal. The Dutch organisation has a 45 year relation with McCartney's team and it's never a problem to slide a Dutch date into a tour scheme. He really gotta put on a complete new show though, having got a lot of critique and a lack of media buzz over the two (far from sold out) Amsterdam concerts only half a year ago, after bringing an almost identical set to The Netherlands just 3 and 5 years earlier. A Pinkpop-headline set is a huge deal, and they only book acts they know will sell at least about 50,000 tickets a day (capacity 70,000, brrrrr). Because even though I won't go there to see him, I don't wanna defend him to the Dutch crowds any longer .

So right now the rumors we have are: Brazil (two cities so far) in April/May Pinkpop Festival on June 10-12 Japan in the summer (from a Japanese magazine) Plus the confirmed appearance in the UK on June 25 Nothing has been mentioned about the US yet, but it's safe to assume he will take his new tour there, anytime between May and August It's still very early in the year, so I expect a lot more rumors in the next couple of months.

Apparently Newark, NJ in May has been mentioned but no idea if it's legit

[..] I must admit Bonnaroo had better years, but it's still pretty solid past the headliners.
I'm curious: Who are some of the better bands to see at this year's 'Roo. I keep up with indie music, but I gotta' tell ya', most of those names on that line-up roster elude me.
Some of the must-hear artists from the line-up: Father John Misty, one of the best albums of last year and a tongue-in-cheek stage persona:
Kamasi Washington, one of the highest regarded albums of last year, a jazz saxophonist and composer. Tame Impala, one of the best live acts from the last few years, huge mainstream succes with the third more pop-orientated album after the first psychedelic 2: LCD Soundsystem, one of the most silly reunions of all time - broke up not even 5 years ago with an overemotional marathon farewell, the last-ever release of that live performance is still warm off the press? - but if they get on the level of 10 years ago a must-see: Other acts of interest are: The Claypool Lennon Delirium, which are Les Claypool and Sean Lennon. Neo soul/R&B-singer Miguel ([." > .]( <img src=) Kurt Vile is folk-y act with very good songs: Rap artists Tyler The Creator and Vince Staples. Gospel and soul singer Leon Bridges. The act Beach Fossils got a few decent tunes if you like that ?Joy Division with a bit more sun?-sound. Natalie Prass is a singer/songwriter with a slight classical influence. Daughter are moody singer/songwriters. FIDLAR is a skate punk band (?Cheap Beer?). Boy & Bear is an indie-rock folk act, not all albums are full of gold, but a few gems among them ( .) Blood Orange = Dev Hynes = Lightspeed Champion etc., with this project almost 80?s new wave, R&B, electronica. Shamir is a very unique act, an in his own words so-called ?genderqueer?, a young dude from Las Vegas who is working on the more electronic front as well ( .) Cashmere Cat is a great dance/electronic producer, who did remixes for many acts as well ( .)
