He should perform "My Love" tonight.

It would be a nice tribute to Henry. (he passed away today, for those who haven't heard yet.) But I don't think Paul's voice can handle it anymore.

No, I'm afraid not. But perhaps another good song for Henry. No news from Berlin Waldb?hne at the moment?

Just back from the concert, great show I think Pauls voice held up pretty good overall, a couple of the piano songs you could notice a bit. Really liked the venue and the rain stayed away which was a bonus. The acoustic set with love me do etc i thought was excellent and Birthday rocked at the end. A father and son from Japan came on stage and Paul signed his absence note which was funny. Have kept away from the setlists for the last month but i think it was the same as USA gigs.

Same set list? Anything about Henry?

I hadnt realised until now he had passed away, no sadly Paul didnt mention anything at gig. Yeah was the same setlist.
-
Thoroughly enjoyable show. Paul was in good spirits and the crowd lapped it up. Stunning venue too.
-
And thank you to Paul for the flag.
-
Wow what a show I also avoided the setlists so I was REALLY surprised when he opened with AHDN The setlists felt very fresh and the audience was crazy where I stood, we all screamed our lungs out and danced! I briefly met the Japanese father and son before the show and they were really nice people I'm glad they got to go up on stage, I usually don't like it but I think they deserved it

Crowd was great where I was too. There was a group of lads a bit younger than me having an absolute ball! Great to see. The "oldies" weren't holding back either! Paul came out with the LGBT rainbow flag just before yesterday and made reference to Orlando. The fans on stage segment was a Dad/Son combo from Japan in Pepper suits. The Dad had taken the son out of school for the gig. Not usually a fan of these segments but it went down well. No mention for Henry McCullough, I was expecting a shout out at least.

so happy to hear you guys had a great time and Paul was in a great mood too.

Wow this is so good of him! And to think of the vast changes in Germany in Paul's lifetime, to be able to make that stand in Berlin too, is a powerful moment. Thank you for reposting! Moments like this are why those guys are my heroes

This made me cry. Thank you, Paul. Orlando hit me hard because less than 2 weeks earlier a coworker was visiting UCLA when the campus was put on lockdown after a shooting, when police thought an active shooter might still be roaming the campus. We all spent the morning in terror that something awful would happen to the youngest member of our team. Enough violence. Enough.

Truly great gig. I'm not sure whether his voice has improved during the course of this tour but yesterday he sounded as good as in 2009 when I last saw him. Reading all the complaints about it on this board had put me on edge - unnecessarily. There were two moments that got a highly emotional response from the crowd : Something for George and when the band stood behind the LGBT flag. The latter a complete surprise and yes .... It moved me to tears.

It was one of the best gigs, maybe THE best gig, I ever attended. everything was perfect, the crowd, the location, the weather, Paul and the band were great, they loved the mood as well. the first time in my life I almost cried during a Paul gig. burn the seats. do GA-concerts, this is what makes it different! (and the Waldb?hne is so beautiful) edit: we had SC tickets and were front row on Brians side. It is always great how much Paul is waving and smiling and joking with the people in the front. LOVE IT!

I thought it was funny when the audience member let off a red and yellow balloon and Paul commented "Venus and Mars". Can any of the German members tell me what joke Paul told in German near the start of the gig? Everyone seemed to think it was hilarious.

He said "Ick freu mir wie Bolle." This is Berlin slang and means "I?m looking forward very much." (Probably only few people understood this, because the most were from outside of Berlin:-))

I was there - direct on stage - these both lucky Japanese Sgt.Pepper Guys stand in front of me - which be hugged later by Paul - it was a great Concert! Thx Paul 4 the Music!
