It is very interesting.. Why in Europe market of Paul rumours in reality doesn't exist, when in SA we know almost everything about his planned concerts 2 months before? Is that with case of his promoters or management? and my question is still... some concert in Czech Republic/Poland? BTW. Warsaw show was the night when he had opened "Out There". How many - for this moment - shows he announced in places where he had played on the last tour? Or how many places he will repeat?
USA, Canada, South America - rinse and repeat...
I'm selfishly ok with that, keeps me squeaky clean!
Watch out for shrinkage.
that"s the kind of shrinkage that we like!!

Yes, delicious white wines. He is from Fanna, near Udine. We stayed there. Amazing!

Intense negotiations going on for a concert in Brazil in May. I doubt he would come here to do just one show, but promoters from São Paulo and Porto Alegre are trying to secure it. One of the guys aware of the details claims there is an open spot and it could be filled up by Porto Alegre, where Paul played in 2010.

So contenders are: Rosario, Argentina and Sao Paulo/Porto Alegre, Brazil

Paul apparently has an extra date that is being negotiated with promoters (that info comes straight from someone working on it), but I doubt Brazil will win this one. He wouldn't come here to do just one concert, due to logistics and the cost involved. Unless they're planning on shipping the stage used in Córdoba to either Porto Alegre or Rosário and assembling it while he's doing the two concerts in La Plata. Those 3 cities are not too far away from one another, so there should be enough time. The way I see it, all 3 cities have pros and cons: Rosario is closer, but the promoter has said he wants to pay 20% less than La Plata (plus the stadium is a bit small and the government doesn't seem willing to cooperate). Porto Alegre and São Paulo are apparently offering more money, but he would have to go to another country to do just one concert. Also, there are too many concerts scheduled for May already, and a very narrow window between Argentina and Germany, so I don't see how he could add another country. If he really does have a free night and is willing to add a concert, the smart business decision would be to do a third night in La Plata. He will be there already and all 3 concerts will sell out, just like the Stones did last month. It would reduce costs and increase his profit. Then he can do a deal to play in São Paulo and Porto Alegre either in November 2016 or April/May 2017 and profit again, as they're offering a ton of money. Let's not forget he's running a very expensive business that includes 100+ people who need meals, hotel rooms and plane tickets, plus tons of equipment that are shipped all over the world and plenty of other expenses. I'm sure he wants to play to all of his fans worldwide, but he has hired a tour manager and advisers to help him decide where to go and when. We can't expect him to play for free, just like we would not work for free. Bottom line: he doesn't have to choose. He can simply accept offers from both countries in separate periods of time, plus the ones he is offered from the USA, Europe, Japan, etc. It's just a matter of juggling them around, which is the MPL symbol after all.

Hehehe I like that comparison. And agree Brazil would be too much to add to a small window - given the Europe shows. Being selfish, I wouldn't mind if he pushed Brazilian shows to November 2016 or May 2017....
-
Yeah, I can't see adding anymore if anything in May. June he's in Europe and July/August back in the US

I guess if there would not be room for an extra concert in May 21st, there would not be ongoing negotiations, right? So I still have the feeling an extra show will be added. Now will it be in Porto Alegre, Sao Paulo or Rosario? I guess we will know soon!

Probably just the three already planned. Just because there are open dates doesn't mean he'll fill them. Remember half the month or close to it he has custody of his daughter and generally doesn't bring her on tour

True. I think at the moment it's more wishful thinking on the promoters' part than a realistic possibility, but it could also be the beginning of negotiations for some future tour legs.
