What song was that "house background" for?
For the "early" songs. In Spite of All the Danger. Love Me Do. I don't think it's anyone's house, is it? It's not 20 Forthlin Rd.
Thanks. And no, I didn't think it was anyone's actual house. Looks as if it could be a haunted one!

That's what I thought too! A little spooky.

If I didn't know better, I would've guessed that it was for "Early Days."

yeah, it would have fit for the video he did.

I like the front porch backdrop and the side screen cylinders. They look sensational.

Too much video projection.... I can watch tv at home.... I much prefer something like his 89/90, and 93 stages.

I agree. Video usage has been over the top for some time now. Over stimulating. Distracting.

I was too busy staring at Paul to be distracted by video/graphics, etc.

Sure you are!

Does anyone know the significance of the three dice that show up repeatedly in the pictures at the beginning of the show, before Paul comes on stage? There are three dice with five dots each. It's driving me crazy!

No, SERIOUSLY!!! My hubby was standing right next to me, he can attest to the fact that I paid attention to ONLY PAUL during the Fresno concert. Even tho' this was my 7th time seeing HIM, I was gobsmacked at the proximity, and stared at HIM the entire time, really. I think his band mates could have been nekkid and I would not have noticed.

I believe you. That's why he doesn't change his set list much, has tons of distracting videos, and band members singing to help his vocals, because there are fans willing to pay and just see him and be there.

The complete overhaul of the pre-show including the moments before McCartney hits the stage surely has been mentioned by now?

He redid the preshow? How's the new one? I'm kind of glad -- the old one was getting to be a little boring. My favorite entrance was still in 2002 with the big Hofner bass. The video for 2005 was pretty great too though.

Same idea, with photos set to a medley. But there are different pix and some different songs, and they rotate instead of scrolling up to the ceiling. Still about 30 min long.

This, and no Booker T. any more. Speaking of all this, the new screen images are great as well, this one from 'Something' blew my mind: http://beatlephotoblog.com/photos/2016/04/115.jpg

One bit I dislike about the new show set-up is how there's no pause in between the grande climax of the pre-show and the appearance of McCartney himself any more. Until this tour, you had the Booker T. intro we all know, no lights on, and after a few seconds a wild McCartney appeared from the dark. Now he comes on without any subtle pause, even while the last tones of the pre-show are still being heard.
