Elvira, "Mistress of the Dark" Halloween movie queen was asked about her experiences dating Elvis and Jimi Hendrix--"Were they any good?" Elvira laughed nervously and replied, "I was a minor then, not of age, but I can tell you they were both good kissers!" Hillary Clinton liked Beyonce having her background singers all wear pantsuits at Bey and J-Zee's campaign concert for Clinton. J-Lo and Marc Antony also performed at their concert in Miami, for Clinton. Pharrell and Bernie Sanders appeared at Hillary's talk in Raleigh. These were all very recent. Oh yeah and Katy Perry performed on Clinton's behalf too.

Saw pix of Lady Gaga "protesting Trump's win" outside the Trump Towers early morning Nov. 9. She stood in front of city trash gathering trucks. In a fancy long evening gown, with styled upswept hairdo and make up

Rufus Wainwright announced, "I wrote an Ava Maria for Hillary Clinton," which he played in concert in Arizona. Rufus broke down crying at one point, while singing this. It's beautiful he let himself show his deep feelings. How many of us adopt a tough "cool" facade instead.

Actress Vivian Vance, so great on "I love Lucy" as Lucy's sidekick, was John Sebastion's (Luvin' Spoonful) godmother

Demi Lovato, in a recent "Glamour" mag with her on the cover, threw thinly veiled shade at Taylor Swift...her remarks were pretty transparent. Demi doesn't dig it that a certain song came out from a fellow female pop star dissing Katy Perry. Demi doesn't like a certain too perfect looking "squad" that doesn't show body diversity. Demi told Swift where she could sit to see better during a show, and the reply was she couldn't sit there because Katy Perry sat nearby. Indicating a feud.

An upcoming new children's musical movie called "Sing" is going to be especially cute, amusing and cheerful, probably cuteness overload--stars Matthew McConnaghey as an exuberant koala bear who hosts a big singing contest with all kinds of wanna be star singing critters, maybe patterned after "American Idol"

Posh and Becks Beckham got their youngest son a record recording deal The lad's first will be a novelty Christmas song : Heard Celine Dion's rendition of Lennon's Christmas song. Girlfriend did it good. Rendered me very wistful, pondering what could have been. (Many more wonderful songs from John Lennon.) Stevie Nicks touring now with Chrissie Hynde and Pretenders opening for her. Nicks is called the most popular Fleetwood Mac member who goes out on tour and maybe the most popular, period. Was in Florida and is in Raleigh, N.C. tonight. This has got to be a fake story...Lady Gaga performed for Royal Command performance in London and later claimed she saw Prince Charles "turn into a reptile" :

Patti Smith and her daughter Jesse are recording an album inspired by Nico, a tribute to Nico. Patti Smith is supposed to sing "A Hard Rain's Gonna Fall" at the Nobel awards ceremony in which Bob Dylan won the Nobel prize for literature.

Mick Jagger and Lady Gaga come across as brilliant in their recent "Harper's Bazaar" fashion mag pieces. Jagger, especially. He should do more interviews. Has got serious smarts. Lady Gaga graces the cover of the December 2016 issue.

Marie Osmond has let it be known she'll perform at Trump's inaugeration, if asked. Exciting. :
-
Paul Anka will sing a "customized version" of "My Way" at the Trump inaugeration
-
Latest on the above posts: no, neither Paul Anka or Marie Osmond want to sing at the thing. (Does anybody?)
-
Tony Orlando will sing at an inaugural ball. Underwhelming.

Beyonce, suddenly, is having twins--a boy and a girl And must not be having a surrogate 'cause a pic of her was shown, with the beginnings of a belly. Seems this is true. Kind of wild cause rather out of the blue. Not so wild, I suppose, is the pairing of Cyndi Lauper and Rod Stewart on a co-star tour. Might be fun? Cyndi's part of the show would, if that ain't certain, I'm hurtin'

In his tome "Every LIttle Step" by Bobby Brown, he reveals just about every famous lady he ever got it on with, including Janet Jackson and Madonna--had to get away from Madonna after just a few get togethers because "she was too wild for me!" Glory be! You have to travel a long way on the road to wild catville to surpass Bobby Brown

New West End musical in the works now, "An American in Paris U.K.," is based on the famous cinema Golden Age of Hollywood musical and former Paul flame Jane Asher is in the cast. The new Vanity Fair Hollywood issue out now features a long article about that old movie, which starred American dancer Gene Kelly, and Leslie Caron. Says that musical greatly influenced all which followed. Never got into Gene Kelly much, looked too big to be a dancer to me (especially compared to Fred Astaire)--looked great big. Amusingly, the story states Kelly liked to show off his behind, and he does sport an awesome tight bubble butt in one still photo from the flick, wore very tight togs. Seems a bit odd, to me, making a West End London musical from this--after all it's called an AMERICAN who is in PARIS, not London. Would be interesting to see their take on this classic.

Actress Michelle Williams will play Janis Joplin in an upcoming movie, "Janis." Bona fide tip, reported in last Sunday's Wall Street Journal Sunday magazine. Can't quite see her in that part, myself. Will be quite something if Williams pulls it off--Amy Adams used to be cited as the lead. Which would also have been a stretch, but more easily imagined (to me) in such a wild demanding role. Ringo's wife Barbara Bach saw Cher in concert in Las Vegas, just the other night. Amazingly, Britney Spears was named the most entertaining show in Las Vegas by some local Vegas awards organization--Celine Dion also performs there in an ongoing venue, and she has vastly superior singing chops Spears doesn't have much of a voice. Did Spears win just because she's sort of sexy and pretty?

Madonna announced she will adopt two more orphans from Africa. Some cynics thought she announced that now trying to distract from her stated desire to "blow up the White House" she revealed speaking at the big D.C. Women's March(later she called her verbal faux pas "a metaphor"). In her cover story in the Feb. 2017 "Harper's Bazarrer" fashion mag, Madonna said she's "always had the s---t kicked out of me" during her long career. Sounded real "street"

Carlos Santana says Beyonc? "is not a singer"--true? A typically intense Eminem: "I'll make his (Trump's) whole brand go under"--(through incendiary raps? #streetfightingman)

British journalist Piers Morgan must be quite an A-Hole--After Lady Gaga said she was raped a long time ago and still suffers PTSD, he accused her of lying. Gaga was quite mild and dignified in response, agreed to go on his show and stand up for herself, speak her truth. Said she isn't lying about it.
