Tokyo, Japan: The Dome, April 27/29/30, 2017 - CONFIRMED
-
do NOT rely on emails for any information. that system died long ago. I would keep checking here and on Paul's main page - there is also a Japanese website for Paul http://oneonone-japantour.jp/ and what looks like live links to the ticketing page, which also actually looks live - of course I do not read Japanese but I see links and if you scroll down, it looks like you can enter how many tickets you want... http://ticket.pia.jp/pia/ticketInformation.do?lotRlsCd=29633 Good luck to everyone who wants tickets!

Thanks for the info guys! Was going to ask if I need to register anywhere else to get those emails related to presales, but will keep checking here as well. I don't think I've ever got any of those emails you mention in the past, however I am registered to PaulMccartney.com.
-
Is a lottery system used for Paul's concerts in Japan due to extremely high demand for tickets? Is that system used by other artists as well? I remember reading people complaining that they never knew their seat location until they arrived at the venue.
-
I haven't heard of it being used by anyone else but who knows! Might have tickets sussed anyway so no need for any lotteries haha.
-
I reserved some tickets on this lottery thing. It's kind of a strange way to do it, but if it works, I'm all for it. Just dumping all the tickets all at once online isn't so great. Maybe this is a better way to go.

No problem! I'm just signed up to PM.com too. I did receive a few emails about pre-sales last year, but not all of them, so they definitely can't be relied on. So, I think your best sources will probably be PM.com and Paul's Japanese language social media accounts.

Hi Carlos, I believe that the lottery system is used often in Japan for big acts where demand might exceed supply. Cheers, Andrew.

There are many rumors in Japanese, about this time concert. I would like to inform you if I read good news for everyone, for example, not a lottery selling method. but, such news still does not exist. I already applied for a lottery. I can possibly buy tickets, but "my seat location" is on the lottery. I can not recommend join this Fantastic lottery to everyone.

... I know Long time no see- please print out your VIP info about tickets- had the switch a -roo last year from the Budakon gig- they mixed - Paul McCartney.com tix w/another promoter - meaning my seat & row - wasn't what I got - yep pissed, since Coming from the US - Slotx tix are usually good tho- just an fyi- don't be in panic buying VIP OK? Tokyo Dome usually runs smoothly- and I've been to 6 gigs there
-

Could you link those social media accounts just so I definitely have the right one(s)? Our contact for tickets doesn't have the connection that they had last time round so I'll be going for the lottery and all that as well.

I believe this is the official Twitter account: https://mobile.twitter.com/paulmccartneyjp?lang=en I thought there was also one for Facebook, but I can't find it so maybe I misremembered?

you are lucky, about your Slotx tix were usually good. my seat was something that could not be called good location. my Slotx result was Second floor's Box seat of the Dome stadium. 2times Paul's concerts, both. but, even that I had join Slotx this time, because afraid to sold out. many of Japanese are taking"there are no good location" about Slotx tix. almost of their results, same as me,Second floor seat of the Dome stadium. but that is a Slotx...the result will be unknown one...

wow. I interpreted it as meaning of a Slot machine-means this time ticket lottery. It was clearly a proper noun,I am sorry. I clearly are causing confusion in this forum. want to say thank you for many forgiveness and kindness from people in here. I hope to I'll be able to describe useful and accurate information.

I check "trustworthy Japanese articles" everyday, but "not a lottery selling method" is still unknown anywhere.I hope that as soon as you all can access the sales methods you can choose the seats location.
