Regular PreSale Question

Is the 10:00 presale for AMEX only or something else. My niece tried calling the number and her AMEX card number wouldn't get her through to a real person to talk about accessible seats.

Is it Oklahoma that your niece is trying for? I think the only presales today are Amex and Paul's. Did she try this link? http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/0C005298A95070EC?adads_id=1

She tried online and over the phone. They had her enter her AMEX number and it wasn't accepted. She works for CitiBank and has a CitiBank AMEX card.

Has she tried entering the 10-digit (800) customer service number on the back of the card as the unlock code? That's usually what they ask for, not the card number itself.

That is correct. Good luck!

She did use that number and it didn't work. She was able to find a list of the AMEX cards accepted and hers wasn't on the list. I didn't realize that the AMEX presale didn't mean all AMEX cardholders.

My niece contacted Ticketmaster through their app on her phone. They called her back just now and said that currently all handicapped accessible tickets are on hold. They advised that she try again a few hours before the public sale on Monday.

Well, that's discrimination! Was it only for Gold cards and above or something? Did she ever get tickets?

I have an AMEX thru Macy's that I can use anywhere AMEX is accepted but it's not accepted for AMEX presales on TM . . .I do believe it's a certain level of AMEX

I think the branded Amex' (like Macy's, etc.) are the ones that can't be used. You can use a "standard" green Amex for the presales. The "preferred seating" is for Gold or Platinum or other higher-level Amex cards, and it does offer you better seats than the "standard" link.

She didn't get a ticket yet. She was trying to get a wheelchair seat for her Mom. She found out from Ticketmaster later that all of those seats are 'on hold'. They advised her to try again a few hours before the public sale.

If she can't get one from Ticketmaster, she should try calling the venue directly. They probably have some sort of Guest Services department and hopefully they can accommodate her. A friend of mine was able to get her tickets this way when she needed a wheelchair seat recently.

I have a Hilton Amex card and it works in the Amex pre-sales. I helped a friend get handicapped seats using my Amex card by calling the venue directly during the Amex pre-sale. That is what I would do based on past experience.
